Sorry if this has been posted, and I'm not totally doing the spoiler thing yet*, but I wanted to say a couple things I saw on TFN, that were collected from "hyperspace".

- The person who ordered the clones was seen in E2. ( hehehe Thats it. Seriously. I'm convinced. You all know what I'm talkin about. Place your bets suckas!!! )
- Yoda will be involved in an action scene.
- Rohan has nothing to do with Han Solo, nor will we see a young Han Solo in Episode 3, as most fans thought on account of his resemblance to Harrison Ford. He also said that Rohan's character was nearly a continuity issue, but it resolved itself.
- We wont see Geonosis or Dantooine in E3.
- The opening space battle will be bigger in scope than anything we've ever seen.
- Wookies in action are something to see.



*Most of that just makes me excited for the film, but the "opening" space battle thing makes me think: So, we'll probably see the opening scroll, pan... up or down, and BOOM! space battle.

Very cool. VERY VERY cool.
But it woulda been a nice surprise, too.

I gotta think about this some more.


I hope at least one of those pieces of info is new to you guys.

BTW, anybody else see the new E3 pic of Anakin from TFN ?

There is a very Darth-looking character who looks like a cross between a Clone War trooper and the original Darth. Not sure if it was really him or some type of precursor, but very cool.

 

And has anyone told you about the Peter Cushing prosthetics? Marvelled at the work that went into this guy, yes he pops up in the new film as you've reported and looks stunningly like a younger version of the character from Episode IV. They've nailed the look for sure. I saw a still shot with his hand stroking his chin that you could have sworn was Peter Cushing from the early 70s!

 

Only 615 days to go, kiddos...

 

Principal photography for Episode III wrapped at about 5pm Sydney time on the 17th.

It was sad to watch the crew hugging and drinking champagne on set as they wrapped up.

I've been watching the Hyperspace Webcam since day one. I'm gonna go thru withdrawl symptoms now.

Somebody hold me...

There are rumors that the cam will be set up during some parts of post production and the pickup shooting in March. But I'm gonna miss the regular shots of the actors, crew, sets, etc...

 

So for those that haven't made the jump to Hyperspace yet, what will the draw be now, without the webcam?

 

Webcam should still be on for some post-production and for the pickup shooting in March 2004.

Exclusive video should be getting added in October and November.

Can download all of the Clone Wars cartoons before anyone else will see them.

The SW.com people have been taking lots of suggestions and my bet is that there will be more really great things to come in Hyperspace.

Some suggestions:
Exclusive HS T-shirt or action figure.
HS members names in credits of film.
HS members chosen content on DVD when released.
Contests for HS members to win premier tickets to big premiers of EP III.
More contests may be coming for other production designs or March on-set visits.

If you ask me, this is an inexpensive bunch of fun for $20/year.

It's been worth every cent so far. Pabs (Pablo Hidalgo or Helman? Can't keep em straight)(sw.com staffer) is very excited about where HS will be going from here.

In actuality, the webcam wasn't expected to be such a big hit. It really shocked the sw.com people. Had to add servers, etc, to handle the demand.

Want my recommendation? If you aren't staying completely spoiler free... Make the Jump!
