EPISODE III SUCKS!!!

I know this has been said many times before, but George Lucas deserves it. Revenge of the Sith was one @#%$!& piece of crap. The story sucked and the dialouge made me want to burst out laughing because of how cheesy it was.

ROTS was the first sw i ever saw. When i saw it, i LOVED IT! Over time my opinion of it has come into porportion with the films actual quality, and ive decided your opinion has no merit unless you provide examples

Because this isn't locked yet, I'll throw in my two cents.

I honestly admit that Episode III wasn't obviously the best movie from the saga. ESB will always hold that title. Pwn.

However, It is one of the best. I mean, I hate to be a mild PT basher but I was raised on the OT therefore I don't fully consider the PT a full complete part of the saga on different heights. But The PT is good enough for me, and out of the PT, ROTS is the best.Sure it has some 'cheesy' dialogue, but so does TPM and AOTC. We've all established that many times.

ROTS is the less cheesiest though, and I think Hayden really pulled through for darth vader. It's a good movie, you just have to place your love of SW in your mind while watching it.

 

Well yea, that was kinda alittle over the top. I totally agree.

 

IMO RotS was the gem of the saga. I never understood a creating a thread to bash SW though. It's a waste of time, everyone has an opinion and there's nothing to debate.

 

What is it about the story that you think "sucked"? And do you think the dialogue was "cheesey" compared with other Star Wars episodes?

Funny, it was actually better received by critics than any of the OT films which they didn't care for. Many fans replaced ESB with RotS as their favorite. The movie made more money in one weekend than you could ever hope to see trying to scrape together enough cash to move out of your parent's basement. Sorry that was rude. However this was a very glib opinion of a movie that should be locked as a topic. It doesn't discuss any of the strengths or weaknesses of the movie and is just lame flaming.

 

Are you kidding?? I could name half a dozen easily.
