Has anyone ordered the Official Episode III Souvenir Movie Guide? It's not available in stores, and is limited!

I kinda want to get it. No definitely want to, but wasn't worried it'd be gone yet. Maybe I should order it soon, with my luck it'll sell out first. It wasn't a big enough priority I guess.

 

It's less than $10. I can afford that.

 

Tomorrow look for the different collectible covers for ROTS on TV Guide. On May 8 on Cartoon Network, look for the Lego film, "Revenge of The Brick" at 7 pm, and on May 12, George Lucas will play himseilf on the "O.C.".

Last night I dl'ed a vid file of the Rick McCallum Spectacular (since I didn't get to see it in person, <g>) and I'm very happy with what I saw. This from a person who was less than thrilled with eps 1 and 2.

Has anyone else gotten any new ROTS merchandise, like the 7-11 cups, the TV Guide covers, Time magazine, etc.? I just bought a lot of other magazines with ROTS-related covers. I got the ROTS soundtrack at Target, which comes with an exclusive downloadable track, while at Wal-Mart there's a downloadable interview with John Williams. The new wave of figures came out as well! The Burger King stuff come out May 16!

 

I got the cups last week. They are very cool looking. The guy that works there even gave me the promotion sign that goes over the Slurpee machine.

I got the Time magazine with Vader on the cover. I'm so excited about the Burger King toys, they're soo cute!

 

TV Guide is selling all six covers in a box set for $20. You just have to go to tvguide.com I got the subscriber cover plus I bought the leia/padme one because I thought it was really neat. I bought a holograph vader/anakin poster at C3 which is better than any cover.

 

Did anyone else get the Luke and Leia coins at 7-11? Only $1 a peice and they're pretty huge.

 

I just got back from LA, and while I was there, I stopped by the Grauman's Chinese Theater line, and talked to some of the SW nuts out there for a good cause. It turns out some of them bought tix at other theaters to see it at midnight (where they aren't allowed to line-up that early), and I got to take pics of the SW footprints, and GL's as well. But I forgot to take Harrison Ford's prints, as well as his star on the Walk Of Fame. I finally got to see the Kodak Theater next door where the Oscars are held. Pretty cool. But back to the SW line, if you want to give 'em a ring, here's the pay phone #'s there: 323-462-9609/9702. BTW, they loved our SFFF custom sweatshirts! So jealous! I think we should get those started again.

George Lucas will be interviewed on Alice 97.3 on tomorrow's morning show. On another note, I've been wondering why I haven't seen Natalie Portman doing any press for ROTS. But I know she's working on her next movie, "V For Vendetta", and her new look probably wouldn't go over well with, say David Letterman.

Actually, I think this is a rebroadcast. Discovery might have shown it before or it was originally shown on BBC. But I never got a chance to catch it. I'm actually getting some use out of my VCR lately.
