Episode IV Basher Sanctuary

So we can use this thread to bash the hell outta Star Wars?

 

Sounds damn good to me. I'm setting up camp in this thread.

 

I gave up all hope after the release of the last movie.

There's no way Episode IV will be any good

 

It's gonna blow lightsaber hilts.

 

I have my doubts about this movie as well..it seems like its gonna be a cheesy space oprea rather than the epic drama that was the original and classic trilogy

 

Episode IV is the worst thing to happen since Jimi Hendrix was allowed to pick up a guitar.

 

Yeah, it's gonna suck. Damn Lucas and his moneymaking schemes!

 

Do you guys ever wonder what happend to the magic of our youth? It really makes me sad inside to see some of the stuff coming out about this new movie, and to watch the movies that I loved for years - the movies that make my life as a Star Wars fan magical - become......this. Remember when we didn't have to wonder what Coruscant looked like because we were shown how big and oppulent it was? Remember when we could actually see Alderaan and know what it looked like? The things I'm hearing come out of the spoiler forum just makes me sick. I think I'm just going to stay here awhile and mend my soul. I remember when it was easy to love Star Wars.

 

Yeah, I'm watching a movie. I don't want to have to use my imagination.

 

Things in the upcoming movie that tell me SW is going down the drain:

GL says he's going to have his actors actually act in this film. Not only that, but the aliens wil be puppets, so the actors will have something in the physical world to interact with as they film their scenes!

And he's actually said he wants the plot and character development to make sense in the next trilogy. WHY!!!!????


This just doesn't sound like the SW I know.
