We are all SW fans here....if you need a win coz we have different opinions....go for it...enjoy your win....when it will be all said and done....its possible that Boyega will have star in as many SW movies than Hamill...so yes...as a big fan of Luke....I also hope that the ST will show me something that I've never seen....

Nicolas Cage would be great as some sort of alien.

 

But you all know Nicolas Cage is playing Luke's wife, right? He's trying on that red wig as we speak

 

Come on, don't tell me you wouldn't love Nic Cage as "Rowdy Cantina Alien #2", its like a role he was born for.

 

Nicolas Cage is playing the re casted Lando , he will be digitally altered to look Black......

Anyone consider the possibility that the "other" female could actually be an older female? Perhaps one who works with Leia in the Republic but who is secretly evil?

 

Would Abrams even announce cameo's? If the actor was only needed for a day or so then i think they'd try and keep it quiet especially if it was a well known SW Universe character.

I don't think any of the announced newcomers will be playing bounty hunters, or at least one we've seen before in either OT or PT. But just in case Abrams recasts who would play Boba, Dengar, Zuckuss, Bossk and a live action Cad Bane?

 

Weren't there some old Judi Dench rumors floating around?

 

I think they were talking about Dame Judi playing Mon Mothma.

 

I know we have talked about whether CGI could be used to have Alec Guinness appear as Obi Wan's ghost. I came across clear source footage not taped off the screen of Princess Leia's hologram from Star Tours which was made by ILM using CGI manipulated outtakes from the original ANH shoot to have her say new dialogue recorded by Carrie. (skip to 4:16)

 

There is still hope for Billy Dee as Lando and Ewan as Obi-Wan's ghost... AND yes, Christensen as Anakin' ghost. Yes I said it!! I'd truly love to see this. It would tie things together so nicely.

 

Im sure many people feel this way but I am very against Lucas replacing force ghosts in the OT and against him using PT actors for this new trilogy. Anakin was an old man when he died. Not Hayden's age. Same with Ewan, leave it alone...its not helping to tie things together its just creating further confusion.

 

One has to admit that Ewan was fantastic in the prequels though, AND he does resemble Alec Guiness quite a bit. With a bit of makeup he could be perfect. I won't elaborate on the Hayden thing because I know it's a touchy subject to a lot of fans. We'll just have to see what happens.

 

Man, they ruined that Star Tours with Naboo.
