ST Episode VII Death Speculation Thread

I don't think any of the OT characters will die, mostly because I believe the ST will be ultra respectful of the OT and completely ignore the PT.

 

I now think Luke will die to follow the trend of the other two movies. i.e. Qui-Gon in TPM and Obi in ANH.

 

I accuse Miss Scarlet in the Kitchen with the Lead Pipe!

 

I think Han will die, but not on the Falcon, I think Chewie will live on to the next film, but will die in VIII saving Han's daughter or son. I think Leia will get revenge for Han and Chewie and will die in the process. The Falcon will be used throughout the new trilogy, with it being destroyed in part IX.

 

My pick is Han and one of the Solo kids

I wouldn't be surprised to see Leia die and there be a conflict between Luke/Han

Also wouldn't be surprised to see Luke die at some point

Han should have a glorious "go out with a bang" sacrifice death, though, for sure.

We'll see how it all plays out. It's intriguing to say the least. I really wish we could hold off any deaths until the 2nd or 3rd act.

 

I'd really hate to see Chewie smother Han with a pillow a la Jack Nicholson in Cuckoo's Nest

 

I don't think Chewie will die. He's the only major OT character who can live on without the actor, and he's an icon. As such, they'll want to keep him for a while
