MOD Episode VII FAQ/Spoiler Policy

I'm honestly torn about how I'm going to approach spoilers for Episode VII. With the prequels, I was mostly spoiler-free, because due to the fact that they were prequels directly leading up to the OT, I already knew what was going to happen- which meant that the sole way for me to maintain some kind of surprise to the whole experience was not to look at any pictures or stuff like that.

With Ep.7, it's a whole different ballpark, because we'll have no clue what the story is until we see the movie, which will make me a lot more amenable to seeing pictures, character names, and the like... kind of the opposite of the way I approached the prequels.

I was so spoiled for Episode III that I remember thinking, when Mace and co went to confront Palpy, "Wait a minute, this is happening already?"

Really gotta try to avoid that this time around.

And there's nothing on earth like a new SW trailer.

I can't wait for these new movies, I believe Disney will do an excellent job while retaining the Star Wars feel that we all know and love.

They gotta bring back the Hyperspace insider stuff! That made it soo much more fun!

Wow, it feels kind of strange being back here.

I must admit I thought I was over and done with SW films. But now...

...it's kind of scary. Imagine all the new opportunities to mess the story up!, I mean, after ROTJ (back in '83), I imagined what happened to Luke, Leia, Han and the gang, after the PT and the new ROTJ additions with young Anakin , etc. It messed up what I imagined for the characters.

Now Disney may show us whatever happened to them and I don't know if I want even more changes...

But I want more SW

I remember reading (was it "Starlog"?) back before ESB came out - oh, the vitriol flung about because a *muppet* voiced by *Frank Oz* was going to be in the new movie! Gasp! Shock!

And will likely make them some good money, so it seems a probable thing

But it won't be nearly as thrilling as HS - I remember being with Anakingirl in London when "Sleepless Knight" came out - We both squealed like little girls.

Now I love Mark to death, he's a sweet, funny guy (and built like a brick outhouse) but seeing him nearly topless now wouldn't have the same effect...

I would certainly hope we don't see Luke topless in the ST.

Some people are into that sort of thing.
