Yeah...I saw those both in the theater too.

Just you wait until...
SPACEBALLS 4 AWAKENS
(And it's literally the same script as Spaceballs with the names changed and an all new cast)

Spoiler tagging for bad language.
I believe they were celebrating the dodged bullet of something going horribly wrong, like The Last Jedi.
My God Skelator is Snoke
To be fair there have been 3 Death Star’s so far, so you can have more than 1 plan
Honestly, the low-res version actually fit better with the older graphics.
the low-res version is better, period.
This is the best cinematic Star Wars outside the OT.
Dolph is the 1980s prequel Anakin we deserved. He even has Shmi's accent.
I just watched that and I didn’t realise how much the ST rips off that Forget the OT rip off comparisons, He Man is where it’s at
And was it me but did the Sorceress seem to be more enjoying rather than hating Skelators can you feel this torture moment
I liked that post because of Uli's good cinematic taste, but in all honesty, I actually do think Snoke was at least as credible a villain in TLJ as the dude every Final Fantasy game seems to have who shares his role. I don't particularly expect it to happen regardless, but I'd like to make sure to do my part to ensure that he doesn't fall victim to the same "only just a placeholder" fandom narrative that I think has been partially responsible for over a decade of Dooku getting screwed over by the EU.
Dooku’s problem stems from the PT and the fact there was nothing he did in AotC and RotS that could not have been done by Maul.
Robo Maul should have been the Sith Lord non-Sith dark side acolyte Dooku was reporting to at the end of AotC. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Huh. You're exactly right.
Previously I'd felt that TLJ had a bit of an "anime" kick to it, but maybe it was the ol' JRPG bit of my brain it was scratching.
I imagine after the prequels, someone so averse to a bad sequel that they do victory dances coming out of the theater must have hung themselves, so on the bright side I'm sure they were spared TLJ.
A small digression from the current discussion with this cool video:
You didn’t need Robo Maul. Simply change it from him standing waiting for Obi Wan to jump over him and slice him in two,to having the Naboo forced rush in which forces him to escape.
That leads into Clones with Anakin rushing in to get zapped and him fighting Obi-Wan and beating him like Dooku does. Also as the killer of Qui Gon it adds a bit more reasoning to Anakin rushing in like he did.
Then you have RotS where you have Anakin defeat and kill him.
Like I said, there was nothing Dooku did in those 2 movies that you couldn’t have had Maul do.
yeah I'm disappointed that they didn't use Maul's revival to give Anakin a perfect batting average against the Sith
that is extremely well done.
I'm traumatized tbh
The poor little guy is still flapping his wings. You're free little buddy. Where you're going you don't need to flap. Just clouds and candy and sunshine all day long. Forever and always. And your grandma is there, and your grandpa too, and grammie and grampie and even your crazy uncle who'd get tipsy at family gatherings and say "those Porgs on that other island think they're so much better than us..." before passing out. Yes, even he got in here. And soon your friend who Chewbacca is going to cook will be there with you, too. Forever and always.
A long time ago... - A slightly more recent time ago, but still a long time ago

I have to disagree, at least with TPM it gives you just as much introduction to the 'verse as a ANH. Now the late films in both trilogies was a bit more "you need to see the 1th movie first".
Yeah, you can watch the films in chronological order and not run into ANY issues.
How great would it have been for Snoke to have said "Darth Vader was a sick man in an iron mask!" when he was reprimanding Kylo?
