So if it's more than one Jedi, can we get Luke, Rey and K'Kruhk ? Please? Sure, LFL can through a few more if they like.

 

I'm thinking that is Finn's hospital gown / shirt he was wearing when Rey said her goodbyes.



So the movie seems to be literally Finn wakes up, throws on his jacket, and starts kicking ass because he's Finn, dangit.

 

Looks like she's rocking the half-ponytail, like Qui-Gon.

It's really interesting that so many foreign titles have gone with the plural interpretation - to the point of the Brazilians actually changing it. I was pretty sure all it referred to was the movie being Luke-centric, but now I kind of wonder.

These jokes are almost 20 years out of date guys.

 

For a second I thought this was a Rebels thread and we were talking about Thrawn. Then realized that's closer to 30. And yeah, that 20.

I think Jar Jar aged better than all of us.

 

If the title is referring to Luke and Rey as a pair, and the poster ISN'T an updated variation of the classic then I'm gonna be pretty miffed at the marketing department.

Though, really, given Kylo's literal crossguard saber it's kind of amazing they avoided it the first time around.

Regarding Finn's first appearance in TLJ I hope its in a bacta tank.

I just read they are removing the Episode numbers from the title of the films.

Which is fine to me. I think they had to for the PT to reinforce it was they were prequel films but now its not absolutely necessary IMO.

I can't wait for the poster and the inevitable Jar Jar Binks followup poster. I just wish they would to it to all the films now besides VII and R1.

 

Where's this removing the episode numbers rumor coming from? They haven't emphasized it at all since the announcement of The Force Awakens' title, but it was still in the crawl. I can't imagine they're going to change that, either from a marketing or final release perspective. Marketing will always call this The Last Jedi, and the film crawl will have Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi as the crawl. Am I missing something?

 

If they're going to remove the episode numbers, it'd be really weird to do so mid-trilogy.

They don't plan to remove the numbers from the crawl but wont be using them in advertising and so on it appears. Nothing substantial. Sorry for the confusion.

I wonder if the Philly police will fine anybody outside the theaters screaming out spoilers? This was a real story back in 2015 during the premier of TFA.
