What in god's name does this even mean beyond "male"?
People, they are clearly flow-walking.
Flow-walking, what's that? Dance moves for the 'Time Warp' song?
Luke hair went from predominantly grey at the end of TFA to back to weathered brown with grey streaks. So maybe Luke took one look at Rey thought "Wow, this chick is hot, I better go bust out my Just For Men", gave his hair a quick colouring, and now they're back face to face (which is why Rey raises the lightsaber at him. Again.)
Peter Mayhew says there is a big announcement coming soon.
Lemme guess, that Episode VIII is to be titled: Don't Mess With The Wookiee.
Or Chewie's Revenge. Or Life Debt.
...actually, as much as this began as a sarcastic suggestion, I genuinely like the title "Life Debt". No clue how you make an entire film with a Wookiee as the main lead, but screw it, two hours of Chewbacca growling? Still better than Twilight.
Probably that he's officially handing over the role to what's-his-face.
You mean Joonas Suotamo, who was Mayhew's double for TFA? He's shorter than the original, but hey, maybe Chewbacca's getting older.
(True story: the first time I saw the trailer that ends with Harrison Ford saying "Chewie, we're home!" I actually was conviced he said "Chewie, we're old!")
That's basically what the Holiday Special is. Lelal and I would agree that it's great, but most people would probably be hard-pressed to call it better than Twilight.
At least the Holiday Special spurred more humorous copycats than 50 Shades of Crap.
Hoping Mayhew announces that Billy Dee Williams is in Episode VIII. I was actually totally okay with him skipping TFA but we needs our Lando, dangnabit.
The College Humor TFA Holiday Special is even funnier now because of how hard they leaned on Constable Zuvio.
The various commentaries that I've found on the Holiday Special make it ALMOST bearable.
At this point, considering everything (which now isn't a whole lot) we know about Lando, he stands a legitimate chance of becoming some sort of galactic leader/Supreme Chancellor. Like we joked about it ever happening in the old EU, but right now the movie makers could be holding their Sabacc cards close to their chests and preparing for some major Lando role.
I would love it if he was something similar to Mon Mothma for the ST.
Speaking of Lando, I read earlier today that Billy Dee is going to London Film Con later this month. Probably just a coincidence, but he wasn't there last year, so dunno if it could be a sign, or just because Star Wars is in the spotlight again that he felt like going.
I see on that same page Lawson, Zahn, Ostrander and Wheatley are going... I may need to think of getting tickets, mmmh....
Whoa. Kenny Baker, Wes, Hobbie, and Kurt Angle are all going to be there too. Damn. I live in the wrong London.
A NEW STAR WARS COMIC SERIES BY OSTRANDER AND WHEATLEY!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm reading too much into this most likely, but MARVEL MAKE IT HAPPEN!
An Ostrander-Wheatley teamup? Whoa. Imagine having art like this...
... once every seven months.
First set photo from Episode VIII-
Whoa. Space Bear really is the working title.
Could this have something to do with Peter Mayhew's announcement? Chewbacca's basically a space bear.
is it wrong that I was way more excited about the dog than the chair logo?
Episode 8: Attack of the Pugs
On what day is the Ostrander&Wheatley panel? My excitement for that is through the roof, which is unfortunate since I'll probably end up disappointed...but hey, I can dream for a few days, right?
