I think it's just the tone of the photo shoot. I'm sure the movie will be colourful. Both TFA and R1 had a good colour palette.

Would it killed them to have put a twi-lek/rodian/hammerhead in that casino shoot? For the past 40 years those guys have been EVERYWHERE in star wars media, what happened were they all wiped out by starkiller base?

Fans want new stuff and when they get new stuff, they want old stuff. Make up your minds people!

Man, this new stuff is so great. This movie is going to look fantastic, if nothing else!

But I'm really wondering what's going to happen for the scene where Leia slaps Poe. Poe's so loyal to her and seems to love her like a mother, and she seems to feel the same about him. What does he do that warrants her slapping him? Or maybe he doesn't really do anything wrong, but maybe he makes a comment about "Han wouldn't want this" or something so she slaps him and says "Don't tell me what he'd want." Or something like that. Huh. It'll be interesting to see, for sure.

 

I think that could work, but would probably require heavy enforcement on those unwilling or unable to abide by the rules.

(You don't have to adopt the Continental model demonstrated by John Wick but, it's an idea...)

That's really a thing I don't like in the ST. We basically don't see any species from the PT/OT expect guys like Chewie or Ackbar. I understand that they want to put in new stuff, but that is a little bit too much. As you said one Twi'lek or whatever would be nice.

 

The moment I saw a twi lek in the background of Saw's hideout in RO was the moment in the film when I realised it was better than TFA (IMO)

 

Isn't that the purpose of the NSA boards?
