Seriously if this is some sort of challenge I'll dust off my old Ep 3 2003 fanfic and rewrite it to fit Ep8. I don't know who gets to play the San/Wat buddy teamup but Hux makes a good Tarkin and I suppose Statura can play Bail or Typho or something. My Ep3 was wayyy better than the real Ep3. Now I gotta go find something that runs '98 Microsoft Works....

 

Hux is the poor man's Tarkin. Heck, everyone in the First Order is the poor man's Somebody.

 

It's nothing personal; I'm just not seeing the leap from "The Art of TFA can possibly be interpreted to suggest that the other KoR aren't Force-sensitive" to speculating that Snoke is not the real BBEG.

Except that Hux was far more effective than Tarkin was in ANH. And he plays "fanatic" so well.

She's now the only one who can rally the NR against FO considering she is vindicated after Hosnian's destruction (and the entire political establishment was annihilated).

As morbidly curious as I am to see that happen, I don't think that will happen.

 

Bur did anyone really expect Anakin Solo to die in SBS, while he was being built-up to be the new generation's lead hero, the "next Luke Skywalker"?

 

I think Rian Johnsons biggest challenge is going to be writing credible villains. In TFA
Kylo was beaten by an untrained girl.
Phasma gave up everything before literally ending up in the trash.
Hux is a border line spoof straight out of space balls.
As for Snoke ... Nuff said
I he is going to have challenge on his hands making these guys credible

Let's see, Kylo Ren at the start of his duel with Rey is:

A) Suffering a mental and emotional breakdown over what he did to Han Solo

B) Is leaking his freaking guts out of his side from Chewie's shot

C) is wounded in his primary sword arm by Finn barely two minutes before his fight with Rey

and yet somehow him losing the fight after going through all that is somehow indicative of the fact he is not an effective villain?

 

Let's not forget that Kylo's an effective villain because 1) he killed his father, and 2) HE'S CRAZY.
