Yesterday I bought 12 Black Series characters I was missing. Dammit, Star Wars, stop taking my money.

 

Just saw an Instagram post from my local Tru, Saying they are open for business... As much as I rant about that store. I'd kinda be devastated if it closed.. So many memories there.. Anyone have their tru closed???

 

I want Jake and sea cow - including bottle of green milk, natch. Han with a hole in his midriff where we can insert the light saber from the Kylo figure-what happened to that one?

 

French Collecting Site Claims Hasbro Will Cease Producing All SA Figures

Star Wars Black Serie France is claiming baseless rumors abound that Hasbro is seeking to stop the production of 6″ and 3.75″ super-articulated figures. The problem? They have no sources cited and just a list of reasons why it would make sense if this happened (something that is already discussed on multiple Star Wars fan sites daily). Years before the Disney takeover, rumors like this existed, but they have been quelled for years. Besides, why would Hasbro bring back The Vintage Collection only to cancel it a few months after its re-launch. Anyway, check out the rough translation, and let us know in our comments how Hasbro could ensure success of both super-articulated scales at retail.

Hasbro is changing the production lines for the Black Series to step up the quality, implementing the face printing technology that S.H. Figuarts has for a long time already.

This is why they are quiet on this front.

The prices are going to hurt the lines even further, rumor has it TVC will be $15 in the US, so they might be close to double in other countries like France, makes sense their market would stop carrying them if they can't sell them at those inflated prices. I doubt they'll be canceled globally though.

 

did we ever get another Disney elite TLJ figure? was really hoping for a Luke.

 

To me one of the big problems is way too many rereleases/repacks. I mean the initial TLJ Black Series line only had 3 figures from the movie. They should be concentrating on making sure figures from the new movie are out during the lead up to it .

 

The TV series will be the way to sell toys.

There is nothing best to sell toys than to keep a weekly presence in all TV sets of the world, instead of a single shot movie per year.

 

I Can't find Dj/Rex Black Series wave...

 

Got in DJ and rose yesterday, and have both the amazon Exclusive and 4-Pack exclusive Praetorian's on the way. My TLJ setup is starting to fill out nicely.

The TLJ line is over from what I gather, along with TBS 3.75. Once the line is rebooted for Solo, TVC will be returning as well. I imagine a Crait Luke will be in the Solo basic line or TVC - I can't see them holding off until Episode 9. I hope other characters like Connix arent far behind either.
