    well it'd be cool to see some of the EU up on the big screen, with the old changing of the guard thing... maybe centred around the NJO

    I doubt it. Pretty much everything after ROTJ has or is being covered by EU. Lucas wouldn't base a movie on EU stuff and I don't think he'd openly contradict it either.

    They could say it is Episode 5.5, yeah! WHY NOT!

    However I think it would be better as a stand alone film as I doubt most of the actors could come back into their roles.

    A animated cartoon might be okay though. :)

    Yeah I also reckon that there's a gap between a New Hope and Empire, I mean why did the Rebels have to end up on a useless, inhospitable planet like Hoth if they defeated the Empire in a New Hope?

    I think that gap between episodes four and five is covered in the novel by Alan Dean Foster - Splinter of the minds eye.

    JP, in ANH, they defeated one battle station, not the empire.

    *beats him senseless and throws him back to QLD, again...*
