Personally, I don't see what the hype about this movie is. decent acting, but the fight scenes sucked. :(

The fight scenes rock. But for me its much more along the lines of why I love the book 1984. Its all about the story.

I guess I might have to go to a specialty shop because I didn't see it at Wally.

I need to see it first before I consider buying it. Maybe at a get together, or can I borrow it from someone?

You know IA everytime I watch this movie I am utterly struck with the thought that you could be Preston's double.

You SO need a Cleric costume. The dark grey and the white dress costume. SWOOOON!

so i just saw it for the first time...

    it was OK...

i kept thinking through the entire thing, "haven't i read this before?"

i just couldn't get it out of my head that preston was so much like Marx and the anti-emotion drugs reflected brave new world. burning everything was too close to farenheit 451, and the whole thing had definate orwell undertones.
which i guess was the point. :p

the fight scenes were ok, until the end, the very last scene in the office was the best.

so overall, worth watching, but IMO a trip to the library would be more rewarding.
