Is this error message really an error? Cause I can still post so I am not banned. Maybe, is it because the computer I posted on today shut down and never re-booted for me to log off? I am in total lose, any help would be grand! :)

Here is what it said: "Error: You are currently banned. No PMs for you."

When did you get this error? Was it when you tried to click to read a new PM or what?

No in fact, when I tried sending one, and it nearly scared me for I did nothing at all to become banned. :)

I once got an error like that. I was just browsing a thread, and suddenly it said I was banned.

    //shrugs

Hiccup in the boards, I guess.

Yes, but this was somewhat different from your experience as I was getting ready to send a PM to a Moderator to have a few things done for me. :)

Yeah, I hate it when the boards have gas :(

Well at least its not causing me to triple post anymore. That was most unpleasant.

I just had that happen to me, does anyone know how to make it go away so I can send a PM again?

YJ if it's a glitch you're a mod and can't be banned, even by mistake.

    Could be IP bleed over.

It's definately not an IP ban bleed over. You wouldn't be here posting if it was. Like I told you earlier I have never expierenced the error myself so I can't speak for the effect it has.

Well rox IP bleed overs can be touch and go, sometimes blocking someone other times not.

Of course since it appears to only be the PM system that's unlikely.

Personally i blame the AC and their shoddy coding.

Please, just stop with the smiley attack. It won't fix the problem.

You're not banned, and it only came back with the IP Ban message once. You can post, and I'm sure now you can PM, so what's the problem here? It happens.

Thats the main problem, it hasn't come back. I am still PM-less. [fac_laugh]

Could it be another TFN webpage error? Maybe one that they are trying to fix?

There is a difference. We have a known PM glitch, especially occuring around the time you noted. What I want to know is if anyone is getting this 'you've been banned' message. That's a different beast entirely.

So you know, I have had on many occasions the same PM problem of which you spoke. It's not just your account. It's board-wide.
