When understanding the intoxication of power it is instructive to look at Darth Sidious and what he accomplished during ROTS and its relevance throughout the Saga in the context of his statements as Chancellor. It is elementary to look at statements by those in positions of power relevant to the historical record and challenge it. The changes are immediately justified in the mind of the new leader and conveyed to his listeners. This becomes the new reality as the former is so easily and confidently removed from history. We now start to see an appearance of Palpatine?s main theme that, ?good is a point of view?. In the beginning of the Saga the Chancellor was somewhat like the Sarlacc Pit, he was in hidin/>
