Something that seems to show up in alot of their movies that absolutely slays me is some of the background scenes, you will see ladies (most of them are men in dresses, as is alot of monty pythons stuff) beating the dust out of rugs with cats. And the cats go, "ReeOOW", everytime they do. Hilarious stuff!!!

You know I'm pretty sure they never say "poo" ;).

Well, I didn't think I could say the other word.

"Well I can't just go around calling you man"

    "Well you could say Dennis"

"I didn't know you were called Dennis"

"Well you didn't bother to find out did you?"

Ya know, The Holy Grail is pretty good. But when it comes to Python, you can't beat The Life of Brian.

Entropy... somehow I think you may be a little biased. I believe Akaria's favorite is "The Meaning of Life" and mine has and will always be "The Holy Grail"... I mean really no scene in any of the movies can out shine the Black Knight duel... though the dead parrot in "Flying Circus" is a close second, however that was a series.

I'll give it to you that, of all the Python I've seen, The Holy Grail has the funniest scenes. But it feels like just a bunch of bits strung together. The Life of Brian has more in the way of an actual plot, which is more appealing to me.

Look, Monty Python and plot are two words that dont really mix. :) More like.... off the cuff, I imagine.

Call me silly, but I like my movies to have a plot (or at least something resembling one).

Ok, they can make something "resembling" one, at least. :) And maybe in some crazy way, they do have one, but man is it hard to follow, lol...

Right which is why I like The Life of Brian better. Instead of having something resembling a plot, it actaully has one.
