Thats right, another hot or not thread.

    But theres a twist here.

you must do something to try to look like a EU Characther, weather it just be hair or a full costume.

Well, this is interesting. I'm not hot, and I know it, but here's a pic of me as Tenel Ka anyway! :)

Shira Elan Colla Brie = Shira Brie = Basis for Mara = Dark Lady Lumiya.

Yeah, pretty much. The Emperor must've had a fetish for redheads. He trained both of them extremely well, but Shira was, truthfully, more important to Palps -- she was meant to be the one to continue the Sith lineage, while Mara was trained to be the uber-secret agent. Mara went in a decidedly different direction, though -- it's like one of those KOTOR things, where you look at a character and see them one way, but given a different set of circumstances would have no trouble picturing them differently. At this point, Mara is too attached to the Alliance to become what Lumiya is currently, and the same the other way.

There are those who say that Shira was Luke's real love...never mind the fact that the Emperor assigned her to kill him. But then again, Mara went down that road at first, as well. Things simply are as Fate has decreed them. I believe an Infinities story in which Shira leaves the dark side during her mission to kill Luke would be in order...or at least a well-executed fan fiction. I think I write Mara rather well, but I have virtually no experience with Shira as a character, other than what I've read in reference materials and on here.

Yeah, pretty much. The Emperor must've had a fetish for redheads. He trained both of them extremely well,

I just read the Marvel comics and I got the impression she was Vader's pet project.

but Shira was, truthfully, more important to Palps -- she was meant to be the one to continue the Sith lineage,

Don't make me laugh. I just posted about Lumiya the Sith wannabe and won.

while Mara was trained to be the uber-secret agent.

And as I've pointed out to many this makes her more valuble than another Sith.

I would have to agree that Lumiya has turned out to be no substantial threat to the galaxy, despite her initial training. Any of the Jedi Masters that survived the NJO could pound her dumb ass into the ground.

Mara was indeed valuable from a tactical standpoint, no question there. I'd love to see a lot of Maras, because I love the character.

As far as its relevance to the thread, I answered a poster's question.

I'd classify most 20 year olds as adolescents, even if they were no longer pubescent.

    So there, Wes.

Are we supposed to be looking at some sort of fan art of the characters or are we supposed to fantasize over how they are described in the books.

I'm not sure if I can understand exactly HOW we know if the characters are hot and if they should even be described as hot.

This raises an interesting philosophical question, is Beauty Coherent or Correspondent Knowledge?

My definition of hot may be different from yours, but are their standards set that we can all recognize as beautiful? If so what are they and why is it those particular characteristics? Also, who set the standards and why should we abide by them?
