I wonder if it was shut down because the bashers resorted to petty, childish insults to try and run us off. In that way, we would be indirectly respsonsible.

 

I guess that's closer to the point, Red 9. One of the bashers is on my list of people who like me now. That's a good example of what we accomplished.

 

Yes, make your points in a logical and calm way, and even EU Bashers will be forced to at least credit that you too have a right to an opinion. At least the sane ones.

 

The KEY to victory in our crusade is this:

If you stay calm and decent in your debate, no matter HOW BAD the opposition gets (or how bad they are foaming at the mouth), you effectively (to use an analogy) put up a little black hole (like a dovin basal does) that eats up their antagonism.

Throughout your missions the focus should be INCREASING UNDERSTANDING between us and them, by use of effective and calm debate. THEY may get angry at first, but by US not being antagonistic in return, they end up punching at air, which of course is a losing battle - for them.

There is a strong possability that Vertical will delete the "Great Scene from Exploited Universe..." thread.

As a work of fiction, I support it being restarted in the FanFiction forum where we can take time out to laugh at the little things in the EU that might bug us, like Waru, Dzym, etc. It is a thread that should not be in the preqel forum, but does not need to be deleted. At the core, it is a light-hearted, satirical look at the EU as a whole.

That being said, if anyone has any more targets, my weapons are primed.

On a note about "Great Scene..." Holliday posted this at one point:

Though the thread IS funny, the fact remains that, by Holliday's own admission, the thread was INTENDED to bash the EU. We have done them a favor by making it a NO-FIRE-ZONE. But we'd be contradicting ourselves to SUPPORT it AS A SQUADRON.

But on a personal level, you can support it if you want. Just don't make it a 'squadron' thing.
