A) Twi'leks (more alien then near-human to me at least) I can totally see them as the B) Ancient Greek Minoan Culture. Artistic, fun loving, beautiful and they dressed half naked (males and females) like the Twi'leks.

EU Twi'leks anyway. Disney is covering them up more.

Good. I liked Rey's. Kylo's was a tad silly. The Stormtrooper 2.0 is odd. If Naboo had Stormtroopers they looked like that.

Hmmmmmmmm. Tough 1. What culture SW hasn't used. Probably vampires. The traditional bloodsucking kind. I don't think SW used them yet. Our Heros end up on Drac'ula 5. Bad I know!

Well although they can be considered separate cultures I do like a Sith run goverment/society.

Old canon? So old EU? Well I didn't like how the Vong are Force Immune. Imagine if say the Borg invaded the GFFA. They have to play by the rules so the Force should work on anyone.

What want to see more of? Well I'm not sure I can keep this PG but........ yeah. Let's just say more "unrealistic" looking females!

You misunderstand me, I meant Force tradition, not tradition, as in group that have a tradition in practicing the use of the Force, like the witches of Dathomir, Dagoyan Masters or gand Findsmen

Why do you like to see just them reintroduced in to the new canon?

 

As I stated before I'm not an overly huge fan of Legends but I find the concept of them using both dogmatic groups (jedi,sith) beliefs interesting.

Although this would never happen, lets entertain a hypothetical for a moment. Lets suppose Disney and writers decide to reduce the role of Jedi and the Sith in the Star Wars films and fiction. Meaning, fiction and films will begin to focus on Jedi and Sith less, and more on other characters and aspects of the Star Wars universe.

Without the constant focus on Jedi and Sith, shifting away from those storylines for significant runs of film and fiction, do you think Star Wars could survive and continue to thrive as it has been ?

If in fact Star Wars needs the Jedi and Sith to continue to be as successful and continue to survive as a massive cult phenomena, would it be fair to say Star Wars is based on a gimmick dichotomy that draws people due to simple mechanisms in the human nature?

Would the possibility that Star Wars could not stand on its two feet without the Jedi/Sith, force/lightsaber gimmick, say something more about Lucas' creation, or the Fans who have embraced and helped mold that creation?

Fandalorians. I know a guy who is a GA type fan except for B. Fett. Dude just loves Fett to death.

#2. I partially think that is true. However I think the main driving "Force" (pun intended) is a family struggle with good & evil. Not good & evil by itself.

3. I blame the fans. GL said a lightsaber is just a tool. He also thought SW '77 would flop. The fans turned SW into the 800 pound gorilla it is today. Not entirely a bad thing.
