Thank the stars that is over, I forgot I even signed myself up for an interview a while back. Glad to have been here, even though I was nudged a few times by Mandalore...And rightly so! Lol

Any hobbies besides star wars?

 

1. Tell us what you prefer - Legends, new canon, or both and why?
Legends a bit more I think. My favourite SW novel is Darth Plagueis, and I love TFU, and I've not been overly in love with either TFA or R1.

2. If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
Play video games most likely.

3. What would be your first question after waking up from being cryogenically frozen for 100 years?
How many Star Wars films have they made in the interim? It would be hilarious if it was 100.

4. What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
Doctor Who. Seriously, I could talk about that forever.

5. When, and how did you first discover SW?
I was 8ish, I think. ROTJ was on UKTV Gold, so I watched it. It was very confusing, ROTJ is arguably the least standalone of any of the films, so it was kind of hard to follow. I then saw both TPM and AOTC the same way (and got even more confused in TPM, thinking Qui-Gon was Obi-Wan, and Obi-Wan was Anakin), before being shown ROTS by a cousin. A few years later, we got the OT dvd boxset, so I finally completed the collection.

 

Any hobbies besides star wars?
Tons, Elder Scrolls, Doctor Who, Assassin's Creed, Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, Middle-Earth. Though I do have a lot of pop culture 'blind spots' so to say, having never seen such famous films as Jurassic Park, ET, Alien, those sorts of things.

 

How did you choose your nickname for these forums?

6. Travel, to just go to a far off country for a few weeks can be so rewarding.

7. If they all paid the same, then maybe a cleaner. It's boring, but generally easy? And you earn as much as someone found loads more work

8. I haven't done much dumb stuff that I remember having much of any outcome really. I know, I have a charmed life.

9. Maybe the Timeridets book series. It's a YA series, but it changed the way I looked at story arcs and serialised narratives (having to wait for each of the 9 books to come out). It's a series with an incredible amount of subtle depths.

10. Maybe Kamino, the designs are incredibly unique, and I love how quickly and efficiently the whole society is sketched in AOTC.

 

Any podcasts you listen to and/or would recommend ?

 

The only one I've listened to are the Assassin's Den podcasts run by Loomer, which are interviews with prominent actors, writers or composers who've worked on the Assassin's Creed series.
