baked a salmon steak, put some rosemary, crushed basil leaves and dill on it, had some carrots, cherry tomatoes, red pepper, I'm so full from it. Hehe it's all good stuff too. Merry Christmas Padawan
And to you, Master! Have a good one! Cooked a nice Bacon Omlette for our dinner tonight - Pa gets full up on a tiny amount of food these days, though. Not sure what we'll be eating on The Day; it depends on what (if anything other than soup) he feels like!
If he only wants soup, I've the option of joining him (we both like Cream of Mushroom) or I can do him a soup and either cook up a Chilli con Carne & rice for myself, or there's a pound of nice sausages sitting in the fridge that I can fry and have as finger-food. If he wants something else, then I'll cook it for him. Unfortunately anything containing cheese is out now (he can't tolerate it any more) so Rarebits and Cheese Omlettes are off the menu -- but I do a good poached egg on toast (in a microwave, yet!) and there's always the reserve tin of Baked Beans to go on top of buttered toast! I'm hoping that he'll feel hungry enough for me to do a Cottage Pie for the two of us; but as he had Omlette tonight, the next day he usually only wants soup.

Feel better soon Falcon! Well, we just finished having Christmas dinner this afternoon and it was really good! My family goes all out and does home made everything. I made the cranberry sauce, my Dad die the turkey and ham, my Mom did green bean casserole, Dad did brussels sprouts (which two people liked. ), Mom did green jello salad, and we did home made pies inc. crust. Good celebration, great family. Now I'm watching my nephews play their ds's as I'm on my laptop and the guys are washing dishes.
