Excellent! Hi Fives are........nice.
Page 20 Tim. I did kinda good reading 3 pages before lunch yesterday, but then football and yes I get very caught up in conversation here and in the Cantina. Got about a half page or so read this morning.
Also I am getting the basic story, but not sure who's who. Wish my comprehension skills were better. This is by far not a unique problem to Shadow Wars.
I got muddled up with the ships and the ship types -- why I started listing them out. Still a bit hazy on who belongs to which ship, but it will get clearer in time!
That's the least of my worries. If I could just get through it, maybe I could go back and try to figure out some of what I missed. But I don't want to go back now, took me soooo long to get this far. Just cracked page 21.
I use an excel spreadsheet to keep alot of the players, characters and notes about them all straight. The GoL Wiki is also a great resource for picking up basic stuff that might have been missed. Especially how characters look since the old image files don't show up anymore.
Cliff Notes, I need a link to the Cliff Notes.
Edit: The Wiki is helpful, I'm just discouraged because I am slow. Looking things up slows me down more.
and I gotta go exercise now. Usually I can concentrate better after I exercise anyway.
I used Excel to plot out my family tree and careers to date, Bard'ika; useful that I've got all that locked into the timeline. The Wook is also helpful for basic ship etc. information.
morning all, Tim I see you joined the RPG good my corruption job is completed
Thanks, Master -- great to be in it!
Hope you liked my second post -- no more now until I get tagged, though!
Yup I have another page to my spreadsheet that has the basics of Taab's timeline plotted out too.
EDIT: Speaking of Shadow War, my next post is up.
I can't wait to join shadow wars, if, y'know, I manage to not get kicked out of GoL before then
Perhaps you should check the Library thread again. I fixed the images and updated it a few weeks ago

At the moment all I have is a Lenea post I believe. Will work on that later if I have the time.
EDIT: Unless CPL wants the Redemption to handle Tim.
If you all would just stop posting I could catch up faster (I'm serious, but I'm also joking)
I am up to page 25, so doing much better and getting the characters sorted out more since I have more time to concentrate on what I am reading. But how long can I legally let my son play x-box today?
If you're my parents...two to four hours
(that was what my brother and I got)
To be honest I forgot we had a library thread. I tend to use the Gol wiki (or more often my spreadsheet) when I need a quick reference guide.
Sure why don't you hail him and bring him aboard for a few

If you let him play more than 4 hours, he might turn out like Skyguy....
I was allowed to play video games as much as I wanted as long as my homework was finished, and I always finished my homework at school. *looks at self* I think I turned out all right.
We never had any decent video game consoles.
That's why I'm a PC gamer
And I played mostly PC games for a looonnnngggg time Becca. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault FTW!!!
(been playing that since I was...8...I think...)
Only time I've ever played more than a couple hours was when Halo 4 came out. I played 10 hours straight, and logged 24 in-game hours in the first week of the games release.
Besides that, I play moderately, and I'd recommend the same. Get the play out of you so you can focus. The people who were restricted become addicted as time goes on.
I was counting PC as part of video games.
I'm an Assassin's Creed nut - though I haven't gotten AC3 yet because of this trip Waiting for the price to go down.
