Like the ship (and the Sabers) Sky-Guy! If Abydos has several of that class, could the stripe be for visual identifiction?

Yep, each ship has a different stripe Tim. Blue, green, red, etc.

Don't remember there being a rule about drinking! And besides, I'd think that would only apply to alcoholic beverages and not soft drinks
