    I dunno, I just couldn't be a Consular type for sure, not in my nature. But Guardians are too aggressive for my taste, I like the balance of Sentinels best, personally. I suppose saying I have a love of fighting isn't entirely correct, I love martial arts and sparring, but there's more to martial arts than just fighting - the hardest lesson for most students is to learn calm and patience and focus (hmm, oddly similar to the Jedi, there) and that's probably my favourite part of Taekwondo.

    I prefer being a sentinel too. I can't see myself being a consular and I also find the guardians being too aggressive as well ;)

    Aaand now a task: summarizing a Grand Master's life to date

    Dean O’Dander, mostly known as Booster Errant, was the first Grand Master of the Galactic Defenders, which was the predecessor to the Guardians of Light. Descended from Revan, and his Force sensitivity known to Emperor Palpatine, he was exiled with Jedi Knight Qu Rahn, until his parents were executed and he became a smuggler at the age of five. At this time his name was changed to Booster Errant, as he was cared for by Booster Terrik.

    During his time with Terrik, he trained as a Jedi from datacards, and in power could rival some of the Jedi Knights of the Old Republic, and was particularly adept at resisting the dark side. He built his own lightsabre and by 18, was invaluable to Terrik in his skills as a mind reader and manipulator.

    After the defeat of Palpatine, Errant sought Luke Skywalker, who made him one of the first of his new Jedi Knights, though they disagreed on methodology, particularly in caution versus action. When Errant was named Jedi Master, he was allowed to secretly create another Jedi Order in the outer rim. In travelling to the unknown regions, he slew a Dark Jedi, Budaki, and separated another from the Force entirely. Though his practices seemed to show signs of the dark side, Skywalker didn’t find him to be corrupt, and allowed him to continue with creating another Jedi Order.

    Errant created the Galactic Defenders in order to fight the New Sith Order and their leader, Darth Dispicable. Here he fell in love with Angelic, though she was later kidnapped by the Sith and poisoned with the Dark Side. While Errant and the other Masters eventually saved her, he was changed by these experiences, went into seclusion, and gave up leadership of the Galactic Defenders. He travelled to Dagobah in search of his brother and claims to have encountered an evil spirit who pretended to be his brother and threatened to kill Angelic if he did not submit.

    Errant became Lord Pargon as he succumbed to the dark side, though he was a shell of Errant. Eventually he left the dark side, though remained heavily scarred from that time.

    Task #3:

    The 3 Types of Jedi

    The Jedi Guardian is a mirror of the Sith Warrior. Guardians focused more on the combat training side of the jedi and also saw the most fighting out of the 3 classed of Jedi. The Guardians were often seen as representatives of the Order and the classic Jedi weapon: the lightsaber. Focusing all their time and effort on honing their martial skills, Jedi Knights who chose to pursue the role of Guardian often built their lightsabers using a blue crystal; symbolizing solidarity and uniformity among this class, though it is not a requirement. After the Ruusan Reformation, the Jedi Guardian class took on an even larger role then they had before. The Republic army had been disanded and Jedi had been thrust in as the defenders of the Republic. Policing the galaxy and working closely with sector and system law agencies, the Guardians worked tirelessly along the Outer Rim Territories and along the borders of Wild Space to maintain law where slavery and illegalities were frequent. Guardians were often known to carry wrist binders for when they made an arrest.
    Because not all Guardians could specialize in every field of study, there were several different paths a Jedi could take to hone their own skills to better serve the Order. These classes included Lightsaber instructors, Jedi Aces, Jedi Peacekeepers, and Exotic Weapons specialists. Weapons Specialists worked with tools other than a lightsaber to defeat their foes. A rarity in the Order, Weapons Specialists worked with double-bladed lightsabers, lightsaber pikes, flails, whips, and blasters. Lightsaber instructors were chosen by the current Jedi battlemaster after having served many long years on the front lines of battle. Piloting a variety of different starfighter models over the Order's history, those specializing as Aces used their battle awareness to increase their firing accuracy and precision far beyond what a non-Force-sensitive pilot could achieve. The Jedi Peacekeepers were specialists in the art of policing the galaxy and ensuring that laws are enforced along the Outer Rim. Probably the most recognized branch of the Guardian class, these individuals served alongside Sector police and local militias to ensure peace was kept amongst the stars. Some well-known Jedi Guardians are Anakin Skywalker, Plo Koon, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Agen Kolar, and Qui-Gon Jinn.

    A Jedi Sentinel was the name given to one of the three distinct branches of Jedi that sought a balance between the other two branches, the Consulars and the Guardians. While they possessed adequate combat skills and had somewhat extensive knowledge of the Force, Sentinels blended both schools of teaching and amplified them with a series of non-Force skills, such as in the fields of security, computers, stealth techniques, demolitions, repair or medicine. While studying all of the traditional techniques and abilities that made the Jedi who they were, the Sentinels of the Order found their isolation in the Jedi Temple to be a hindrance if they were expected to be able to work with the civilians of the galaxy. The rarely lit lightsabers of the Sentinels usually produced a yellow blade. Few in numbers, Sentinels had no superior titles such Sage or Warrior Masters of the other two branches. Instead, they focused on the variety of different techniques needed to be successful as a Sentinel. During the Great Galactic War, the Cold War and the Second Great Galactic War, Sentinel was used to refer to Jedi Knights who specialized in wielding dual lightsabers and using the Jar'Kai variant of Shii-Cho, Ataru and Juyo.
    Sentinels focused on a variety of fields, some with honorifics in the Order, others with skills taken up by professional in the rest of civilization. Different groups in the Sentinel class are Jedi Investigator, Jedi Recruiter, Jedi Shadow, and Jedi Watchman. Working as specialized trackers and even spies, the Jedi Investigators worked closely with law enforcement to track down criminals and discover the truth behind crimes. Going undercover for long stretches of time, investigators should not be confused with their Shadow cousins, as the role of an investigator focuses mainly on crime as opposed to Dark Side Adepts. Working as members of the Acquisition Division of the Order, the Jedi Recruiters honed the talents learned from Jedi Investigators to track down and identify Force-sensitives to assess whether they belonged in the Jedi Order. A highly respected and secreted group of Jedi, the Shadows went farther than the Investigators in their hunt for the truth. Working closely with the Council of First Knowledge, the Shadows seek and destroy all traces of the Dark side of the Force, and its adepts. The Jedi Watchmen were a group of individuals who chose to work alone in the oversight of peace on a single planet or system. Focusing on bettering society and protecting the rights of a system for years at a time, they became a vital liaison between the planetary government and the Jedi High Council.

    A Jedi Consular was the title of one of three distinct branches which a member of the Jedi Order could decide to study under following their ascension to the rank of Jedi Knight. Led by the Council of Reconciliation, the Consulars sought diplomatic measures in spreading peace and harmony across the Galactic Republic. Refraining from drawing their lightsabers (many Consulars wielded green lightsabers) except as a measure of last resort, Consulars spent a great deal of time studying the mysteries of the Force. What Jedi Guardians achieved through combat, Jedi Consulars achieved with words or non-violent use of the Force. Concentrating on mental refinement through study and meditation, Consulars sought to perfect the art of diplomacy and mediation, hoping to calm a tense situation or mend hurt feelings through civil discourse, reasoning, and parley, rather than drawing their lightsabers and cutting down an attacker.
    Divisions in the Jedi Consular class include Jedi Ambassador, Jedi Artisan, Jedi Diplomat, Jedi Healer, Jedi Lore Keeper, Jedi Researcher, and Jedi Seer. Serving as liaison between newly discovered worlds and the Republic Senate, Jedi Ambassadors are often times requested by the governments of foreign powers to mediate talks of membership with the galactic regime. A very rare specialization, the artisan focused their Force studies into the art of creation. Crafting beautiful works ranging from lightsaber hilts to other precious artifacts that will be imbued with the Force. Where the Ambassadors of the Order merely mediate talks with the Republic and foreign states, Diplomats walk into a situation and are tasked with writing treaties and helping to form compromises where other civil servants may not be able to. Led by the Circle of Jedi Healers, the Healers draw upon the Living Force to preserve life and cleanse impurities and wounds. Made up of three similar groups, the Jedi archivist, Jedi historian, and Jedi librarian, the Lore Keepers of the Order are governed by the Librarian's Assembly of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Maintaining the Jedi Archives, these three groups may specialize in different fields, but all work closely in maintaining their vast collection. Made up of many specialists serving the Order by updating the Jedi Archives, Researchers fill the roles of Jedi mathematicians, biologists, astronomers, and hyperspatial physicists. Highly attuned to the Unifying Force, the Seers of the Jedi Order are gifted with pre- and post- cognition, seeing glimpse granted by the Force of things to come, and things which have already transpired. Jedi Prophets are a rarity amongst the Seers, and are able to divine such things as the Prophecy of the Chosen One.

    For me I'd have to say that I'm more like the Guardians. I'm just the type of person that can just sit around doing nothing. I have to be out on the front line using my skills to protect people. It makes me feel good knowing I'm doing something to create change.

    @JediFalcon the deed is done.
