    That's actually one thing I've never figured out in SW - how does education work? Some universities are mentioned but it seems like it's rare for anyone to go...

    You have an excellent point there! How does none learn the basics? And who is the sucker who gets to tech Jedi kids algebra?

    There are vast libraries with a lot of holocrons found in the Jedi temple. Also, there are classes for jedi younglings. When a Jedi gets a master, their master is in charge of instructing their padawan in what they need to know. I think. :p

    Not it on teaching Algebra to Jedi kids :p

    I couldn't even teach myself algebra. That's a good way to get a training lightsaber to the gut :p

    My son just said "who ever uses algebra mum? Half the stuff we learn in Maths we will never use gain!". He has a point.

    But what does a good Jedi need? History, geography, Stella studies, cultural studies, psychology, physical Ed, basic (English) and a second language?

    My math teacher said that we learn algebra because we get use for it when we're at high school, but when we asked her if we'll get use for it in our working life, she didn't say anything...
