Normally I don't either. They make it too hard to find a nice twinkie, but I figure I am ready enough. :p

That would be an awful shame. Especially for someone who is very rarely around... :p

Speaking on the subject of "hanging out in the NSO thread". Occasionally popping in and saying hi to our Sithly friends is acceptable. However, daily hanging out in there is not going to be tolerated (especially in Socks).

It was agreed upon that the Jedi and Sith would only visit. There are other threads (New Users Social, Blue Moon Cantina) that are there specifically for neutral Jedi/Sith interaction. If you are a member of the Jedi, and have submitted to training as such, one of the things that you are not allowed to do is hang out in the NSO as stated in our Expectations.

If you have any questions regarding this or any of the other Expectations please PM me.

    Thank you.

Even though I don't really see the reasoning behind that rule, I will follow it regardless. For the longest time dual membership was allowed and it caused no problems - it was actually A LOT more peaceful than when they weren't for a time before that, back in the days of the GD. However, a rule is a rule, and protesting it will cause more problem than its worth.

The rivalry brings in activity these days. Let's be honest, Star Wars fans have two types, the fly by night ears who appear at movie or new game premiers, or a new book appears, and the die hards ( like us lot) who love it regardless of what time of day it is. Right now, we are in the 'quiet time' with Mercy Kill out now and read by most who wanted to read it, we are back to the die hard fans again. So we have to keep the interest and chatter high by creating situations that give people a good reason to post! Hence the 'play' rivallry. ;)

I didn't go either. Yeah, I'm American and all, but I live on the West Coast. It would be a 34 hour, 2,134 mile drive for me, and I don't drive.

Ouch. I'm hoping that if there ever is a Celebration VII, it will be held in Los Angeles or Las Vegas. Because both are a lot closer to me (less than 500 miles). Also, while Vegas would be closer, but if it was in LA I might be able to stay with my older brother who lives there. I would wish for Phoenix, where I live, but that would be EXTREMELY wishful thinking. :p Its already even wishful thinking for them to have a CVII.
