Bardan Jusik was my favorite Jedi.

 

and the why is because he was Mando Jedi wasn't he?

 

Well he was a Jedi first and left the Order to become a Mandalorian.

 

As for me. My favorite 'Official Recognized True Timeline' Jedi would have to be torn between Yoda and Obi-won. . .to make choose would just be cruel

If we look solely to the Legends, I would have to say that I would be torn between Anakin Solo and Bardan Jusik. Both had such a calling to family that made them better Jedi, even if one had to leave a decaying order to follow that.

I am finding it to be quite an edifying experience here in the EUC.

 

I've always liked Plo Koon. Besides being a tremendous Starfighter pilot, I've always found it interesting how he lived almost his entire life in a world in which he couldn't breath, smell, or see naturally. This is even more important considering he was a Master Jedi. Can you imagine how hard it would be to summon the "living force" around you when all you could smell see, and breathe was artificial? I think it would sort of be like living your whole life while scuba diving. Best of all this, he was known for having quite the sarcastic wit about him as well.

My favorite Jedi is Kyp Durron and out of the movies is Anakin Skywalker. (Used to be Luke but I seemed to be more interested in the Rogues )

 

Movie Jedi:- Qui-Gon Jinn

OEU Jedi: Djinn Altis

Both mavericks who saw (IMO) things a little clearer than the Council.

 

I say this in the highest respect: Oh contra, it is because of Qui-Gon that Anakin became a Jedi and thus was in the position to betray the Jedi and become Darth Vader.

 

Really, Anakin would have been found by the Sith at some point regardless...one doesn't escape the type of destiny he had. I don't think it's fair to blame Qui-Gon in that regard.

 

Some of us here believe that in order for Anakin to fulfill his destined role as the Chosen One that he first had to turn to the dark side and become one with it in order to destroy and personally overcome it, thus restoring the balance.

Perhaps that was in fact the overall grand plan of the will of the Force itself, unbeknownst to all, from the beginning.
