I will not deny the fact that I didn't know anything about grammar when I first ventured into the Jedi Council Forums. I actually have this place to thank for teaching me how to put my thoughts into a legible version of the English language. :)

Based on the reviews I have read it looks to be worth the cash, hard to tell until I get it though.

Sorry for the double post, but there is a nice little thread in Lit about the book giving some nice teasers about what is in there.

Yeah i read up a bit on the link. Looks like some cool stuff is going to be in it. I wonder how much will differ from the Darkside handbook. Updated stuff i'm sure. Still nice to have and I will get it eventually.

I just got my copy today. The holocron case is awesome! A bit loud though. But I like it!

I've been looking through it. So far I like it a lot! Lots of goo info so far. But haven't gone through it thoroughly yet. One thing I do see I don't like is an overly long chapter on the Nightsisters. I can see a paragraph or maybe a page. But that section is too long. This ics the Book of Sith, not the Book of Nightsisters. But then I never really cared for the Nightsisters anyway so maybe I'm just biased?:)

But I think those pages could have been used to explore Korriban or the Sith Empire, or opinions of Sith Lords like Naga Sadow, Traya, or introduce us to unknown Sith.

My two cents. But I think you'll enjoy it when u get it.

It's loud? What does it have a speaker or something.

I like the Nightsisters but they are not Sith just a darkside cult. Did it explore the Ancient Sith Empire and Traya at all. It would be a surprise if it didn't.

It went into the arrival of Jedi Exiles on Korriban. The great schism, the hundred year darkness, some history of Korriban & the pure blood Sith. The one real thing I see about the new Sith Empire is a section by Darth Malgus. Vader makes a couple of interesting comments in this section.
There is an interesting section on Sith Alchemy & Sith Powers. I really like the section by Bane. The section by Plaguis is interesting but a little long.

The Darkside combat sections was very good. Would like to see some of those powers in use. One other thing, the Lightsaber combat section was a bit light. But I guess they figure it was pretty much covered in the other book. But the author of that section does give an interesting view from the Sith on Forms.

It also includes the prophecy of the Sith ari. I never came across it b4. but I haven't come across any mention of the Sith Triumvirate. Or the opinions of Sith greats like Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow. Or any in depth ino on the New Sith Empire.

If I were you guys, I would make it required reading for apprentices. [face_devil]

But when you can....GET It!!!! This is a MUST HAVE if you are interested in the Sith. Like I said, the

I was unable to read any of the book last night as I was unable to make it home. I just finished the second part(Malgus), and am still enjoying it. I'm pretty sure that the first section will remain my favorite though as Ancient Sith lore has always been my favorite topic.

I'm extremely happy with the way they handled Sith Magic, it's so close to how I was playing it with Kye'El in our RP's. :D

Reading the section on the nightsisters now. I like how they didn't forget the ewok movies when briefly going over the Talismans of Transformation. :-B
