On Friday, the 23rd of April, there is an evening bird hike out towards Brown County as part of the Brown County Wildflower Foray that I thought might be interesting for some of us in the club to attend. Here is a copy of the description from the Foray's website: "Timberdoodles, Goatsuckers, and Peepers, Oh My! 7:30 p.m. Join DNR Naturalist Jim Eagleman and BirdCountry.US Director Jeff Riegel to explore the new Bill Zimmerman Wetland Preserve as the evening comes alive. Hear American Woodcock, Whip-Poor-Wills, Chuck-Will's Widows, and more frogs and toads than you could possibly count. Carpool from Location G." Location G - Meet at end of the Nashville IGA grocery store parking lot, near McDonalds restaurant. 39.201465 N, 86.239843 W (GPS coordinates) For those interested, we can carpool out there.
