DFW, TX EVENT - DFW Fanforce movie outing: Raiders of the Lost Ark

Where: THE INWOOD THEATRE .. 5458 West Lovers Lane at Inwood, Dallas, TX 75209

Why: Because it's there

It's not the best sound or picture but it's Raiders back on the big screen.

 

Cool! And it should be held at midnight, sence its the midnight madness from the Observer

I remember seeing this movie in 1981 on the big screen and being totally floored!
I even have the Hat! (Maybe I should wear it...) It still remains my number two movie, next to Blade Runner! Great time for it to be back on the big screen!

 

Raiders is back on the big screen!!!

ARG!! Why couldnt it be at quality theater?!? Inwood? Their screens are just painted walls if I remember correctly. My DLP projector/106" screen/HDTV copy of Raiders, would probably be a better experience.

Raiders was the last movie I saw at Northpark on its final day, and I don't think I could handle it at Inwood... Sigh..

I'll have to think about it...

 

Some People... Anyway I might be able to make it, What fun would you have without at least one TBM....

Hope you guys don't mind a couple of newbies...my husband and I might be showing up. If so, it will be the first time I've ever seen Raiders on the big screen.

And I like the Inwood. It has character, as well as real butter on the popcorn and quality chocolate. Besides, it's a midnight showing of Raiders. That would be fun projected onto a bedsheet in the middle of nowhere.

I will be there, this will be two first for me. Never been to the Inwood nor have I seen Raiders on the big screen.

 

Bumping this up again.

Remember...the Inwood is an older 'classic style' theatre. Don't expect modern day superior sound and picture quality. Just a good old fashon movie house...it's fun.

KRWade-X is simply placing the spotlight on himself as the "Token Black Male". Don't let him frighten you though, his fleas are worse than his bark. Unlike many here I know he's full of baloney...or is that bologna?
