DFW, TX Event - DFWFF RPG !!!!

The RPG went great again. Several of us were discussing the possibility of a larger location for future events. More about that soon. The next RPG will be in August.

So, does Corey know which weekend in August we'll be meeting next? Judging from what he's said about his schedule, I'm guessing either the 10th or the 24th.

Darn...there's a good chance I'll be unavailable the 24th, as that's my sister's birthday.

Of course, my guesses as to the possible dates could be incorrect.

Now, just to recap last game the group had to deal with the civilians on the ship and deal with a nasty Trandoshan. While the Duros thought that saving the ppl in the desert was a good idea, so he and the human pilot decided to go get a skiff from the only outpost and go out and get the survivors. Well, the human pilot had been taking prisoner by a Dark Jedi, while trying to recover the skiff. The jedis' feeling that it is thier duty(?) went to rescue our pilot in distress. Not content with beating the snot out of a dark jedi, they also took him prisoner to drag him back to the council. Now, with the pilot out of harm's way and the party's ship almost ready to leave.

Will the party make it off the planet??

Or will they encounter more of the interesting lifeforms??

Will the Twi'lek stop watching the female civilians in the showers on the ship's camera??

Will party kill the GM if he keeps messing with them??

Stand by for further instructions and the next meeting.

 

Since Brian can't make it on the 10th, I'll try and show up on the 24th, but I might be kind of late.

Probably not. There are ways of dealing with a GM that don't involve prison sentences.

Just to make sure you are all aware, the Sci-Fi Expo with Carrie Fisher is on August 24-25. That will prolly not be a good weekend to game since many of us will be working/attending the show. I will be out showing Carrie the highlights of Big-D, but I will ask her if she wants to stop by. So long as she signs my Topless Slave Leia carded figure, the rest of the night is up to her... Deep Elem, West End, my apt... beer, wine, coke, Dr Pepper... whatever.

Possibly. Depends on our prep work for the show. We may be laminating badges all night like we usually do. We'll see.

 

This is your update for the game.

So this whole month is a busy month. We got kids coming and going(or i do anyway).
There is a Con some ppl have to be at.


So the idea has been put forward that the game be held on the 9th which is a friday.

So if it runs on friday the 9th when would everyone be able to show up??
And can ppl show up??

 

I'm already scheduled to work that day. I need more advanced warning that that so that when I make my schedule for my store, I can make sure i'm off during play time. As the Store Manager (who makes the schedules), I can make myself free whenever we want, but I need more notice than that.

Either is good for me. I already scheduled myself off on the 10th. But my vote is for the 24th. Let's just do the SciFi Expo thing, then all head over to either mine or Jeff's place and we'll start our session a little later than usual. (we should be able to start gaming by 7pm if we hurry and get out of the show quick... right?) Whoever's home it's gonna be held at could leave earlier than the rest to get the place set up (tables, pizza on order, let the other guests in who aren't at the show, etc..)

Well, with the other FanForce groups coming into town for the show on Saturday, we'll be having a big dinner/get-together that evening.

With this show being fairly large, we'll do badges starting a few days in advance anyway; my vote is still for having the game on Friday the 23rd.

btw, I'm out of town from August 8th-12th and 29th to Sept. 2nd.

But they are for vacations

 

It's looking like Friday 23rd is the best so far. 6oish? 7:00ish? This way we could also be laminating if needed. Lets talk more about this at Mike's tonight.

The game is Canceled for this month.
To much going on for everybody, so, we will hold off till next month.

Next month, we will pick up on the 7th of Sept.

So I hope this isn't a disappointment to anyone, but, with so much going on. It will be much easier to pick up again next month.

Please make plans for this one. I would like to start a little bit earlier. Maybe 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

I hope everyone can be the at the next game.
