Jack, FL Event: Matthew Stover to do a ROTS book signing. . .

as far as I know the signature is free, they are expecting a lot of people, they announced this event over the radio. I will try to be there @ 1pm and pick up the tickets, as many as I can get and watch a movie just like Errant. You know kill time until 7pm. Im going to don my costume around 5pm and start handing out flyers.

 

Is it 1 ticket per person? Or is it 1 ticket per thing to get signed?

 

that I dont know, but is got to be 1 ticket per person.

I just call the store, They have no limit in the number being pass for the book signing and as far as how many items that you can get sign is up to Matthew.

 

Blaze - I need three tickets if possible because I promised other people I would pick up books for them!

Luis, I will not be in costume, because the only costume I have is being sewn as we speak. Mark my words, as soon as it is ready (which will be after C3), I will wear it as often as I can! Where can I meet you to get the ticket from you?

 

I am not coming in costume because my mom is in the hospital and I was out of town all week - just got back last night so not enough time to press my costume and make arrangements!

I think Gina was planning on a costume though . . .

THE GUARDS WILL NOT RETREAT!

 

They didn't say anything about the RRs but Luis will be there around 5:00 to suit up so you should be fine.

 

It was great seeing you all again, and there were quite a few new faces since last time I joined you! I had a ton of fun and look foward to future events!

Oh, and the movie I saw was Sin City at 3:15, which was allright. Not my favorite movie, but it was decent I suppose. Not really my type of movie.

 

I agree, it was good seeing you guys. Much applause to all of you who showed up in support of the event (In or our of costume)! It went extremely well.
You guys have to agree that that was hilarious when the questions started and the first ones were about us! I thought Stover took it well. After that, we all know who the real celebs are!
It also looks as if the event drew some more new blood. This is exactly want we want. There are tons of people in Jax who dig SW as much as us...we just have to find'um.

Hey, to all you guys that came last night, I so Appreciate it. It was great to have the SW Universe represented! I am the DM for BAM, and i really wanted to espress my gratitutde again.

Hey it was nice to met someone as nice as you and your husband as well. Like you said, it's a small world! We will have to get our girls together very soon...i'm sure they will have a blast together. I had a great time and you are right crimson it was funny when the first couple of questions were directed to us. we picked up couple of new members and many more to come. did you guys watch the news last night we were on tv. We need to do this more often. Thank you District_Sidious for letting us troop in your store and looking foward to see you at the meetings.

Hey guys. Its good to hear everything went well at the book signing. I really wish I could have been there. Thanks Leia for picking a book up for me. I owe you big time. Its great to hear about all the exposure the group got as well. The more people the merrier. I worked for 3 years at BAM on Atlantic in Jacksonville, two of those years as a customer service manager. BAM can put on some good events and those were always some of my favorite times to work. Just good to hear everything went well. Wish I could have been there

 

I really enjoyed the book signing. I enjoyed his Q&A session in addition to his reading a part of the book itself. It was good seeing so many fans both young and old alike.

 

It WAS nice seeing a wide range of people, wasn't it? The kids enthusiasm was wild - especially about the costumes. I have a feeling our group will grow after this.
