DFW, TX EVENT: Star Wars RPG ..... Sept 7th

Time yet again for the Star Wars RPG...

WHEN: Sept. 7th - Saturday - 3:00pm until we drop (no one leaves before 9:00pm all prosecutors will violated )

WHERE: My place again - email/PM me for directions

WHAT: Just bring yourself, we will have plenty of materials on hand

WHO: Everyone reading this cross over children...all are welcome

FOOD: Bring what you will - food / beverages / pizza money

Hemp Knight (our resident GM) is planning something cruel this time. I have no proof yet...but I hear him muttering "the Jedi fools will pay" from his desk at work. I'm scared.

Everyone is welcome to join us as always. You don't have to know how to play, just how to have fun. The Star Wars quotes fly constantly. And so do the jokes. At the very least you can just hang out and view my latest toy acquisition.

No one plans to leave before 9:00pm. No one bails because you ran out of cigarettes. "You will stay, or I will make you stay. Your in my world now, grandma."

I'll try to make it. I might have to come a little late cause I'm workin morning/afternoon. I should be off by five. So hopefully see you there?

 

Yeah, I'll be there. When is a different matter, though. I'll try to get off work as early as possible, but it may be 6 or 7 before I can get there. Just pretend my character is meditating.

 

I'll be there, ready to shoot first and... get shot by Han Solo.

It must really suck for you guys to get shot all of the time. You should have Brian as your partner. He does things that are so unpredictable that you never really end up in any danger.

Hey, all I was doing was oogling at the shower-cams the whole time.

 

Well folks, once again I have to bow out.

I keep getting work on these days. But the good news is, I have a full time job now, so I'll be able to have the weekends off, from now on.

That was the best SW RPG we've ever had. Thanks, Corey. For those that weren't there, you don't know what your missing. It's pure Star Wars fun.

We actually came face to face with Yoda and Palpatine. 'The e-v-i-l!!' I think we could sum it all up by calling it 'Fun with tractor beams and ion cannons'

The next installment will be very soon (a few weeks)

That was a good session!

So, anything noteworthy happen after I told off the tight-lipped Republic "security force" and we high-tailed it outta there ?

 

ummmm, yeah!!

We headed back to Coruscant, where we were "greeted" by 4 squads of republic fighters. But 4 Jedi Starfighters showed up to make sure we landed safely. We were met on the landing platform of the Jedi Temple by none other than Mace Windu and Yoda themselves. Had a stand-off with quite a few Republic guards (who i scared away from the ship with a REALLY nasty look). We compiled our collective reports and submitted them... to the Jedi Council!! oh, and a certain individual who goes by the title of Supreme Chancellor. *cough*Palpatine*cough* Released the 4 prisoners, were given best wishes to continue our mission, and sold the 3 fighters we captured for around 120,000 credits.

Other than that, it was pretty boring.

 

And to piggy-back what Jeff said, that was one awesome session, Cory!! I never thought I would be this excited about playing a Star Wars RPG, but I'm REALLY having fun with this.

And the team we've assembled seems to be doing great. We're accomplishing objectives and working quite well with each other.

I can't wait for next time!
