San Fran, CA EVENT: The Wizard of Oz - 70th Anniversary Screening - Nov. 17 Encore Presentation

So that's a possible 4 people going. Should we buy tickets soon?

 

Um, yeah - maybe we should put this out on the Yahoo group too since it seems to be formulating into a Fan Force event.

I don't want to get a ticket if nobody else is going... wasn't sure if I should buy it yet or not?

 

I'll probably swing by Tanforan tonight or tomorrow to buy my ticket.

 

I'll probably pick up my ticket tomorrow too. Tried to use some discount coupons from Costco, they are not accepted because it's a special event, and I did not have cash on me.

 

If this is an event now the original poster can change the title of the thread and add "EVENT" on to it. Yay infinite edits!

 

Got my ticket today.

 

Got mine, what time is everyone else thinking of going? Movie is 2 hours, dinner afterward at BL's sounds good.

 

I should be there no later than 6 pm.

 

OK - see you all tomorrow around 6:15ish I guess? Are we meeting outside the movie theater, or inside in line?

 

We'll probably be inside the theater by 6:15. I'll probably get there at 6:00. I live about 10 minutes away.

 

I'll check if there's a line around 5/5:30. They usually let people in 30 minutes before showtime. Should we make a reservation at BJ's for 9:00?

I just looked at my ticket. I think our old post originally said the movie was at 7:00 so I was going off of that! Yikes! Glad I just pulled out my ticket. I'll try to get there closer to 6:00. I have to mail a bunch of stuff at the post office before I head out to Tanforan.

 

That was cool seeing it on the big screen. Who knew the Tin Man had a white t-shirt?

 

Yeah, no CGI to fix costume mishaps back then. But heck, I like it that way!
