Well, I have a program to keep track of my entire SW collection, what I paid, what it's worth, etc. Well, I was trying to edit some stuff in it and it wouldn't work so I tried to delete just one portion of my collection. Well, it decided to delete my entire collection instead. So I am spending today working on trying to get this info back into the darn program. Thankfully I have a printed copy, however, it is from May. So I'm having a fabulous weekend trying to retrieve all this info! Ughhhh!

Oh yeah, done that, except it was around midnight and was a collection of graphs I was making to turn into my zoology class the next morning... I was in a very bad mood. I think that was the night the story about me being a Sith in denial started.

Yes. I have a similar kind of program that I use to keep track of the inventory for my out-of-home business (no, not costumes - but the business is very low on the priority list now and I'm not considered "active" - and, no, it's not (sc)Amway). I went through and deleted a whole bunch of what I thought were inactive categories one night... only to find out that those categories contained half of my inventory. ^^;; argh...

I also lost half of a paper one night - the night before it was due, of course. Was so frustrated and pissed that I had to just go to bed and re-do it the next morning. That *really* sucked.

At least you didn't miss a *final* exam because you can't tell time correctly and arrived 4 hours late...

My family will never let me live that one down, lol.

Ohh, had those nightmares too, thats why during finals week I constantly checked and rechecked the test times and would freak out when I woke up in the morning until I convinced myself that it was infact the time I was supposed to get up. (Ever had those times in the morning when the numbers just don't want to make sense?) I know a few people who have done that though.

Yowch!! Didn't ever do that, but I've dreamed of doing it, too. In fact, just last night I dreamed I was taking my high school AP English exam all over again!! That *really* sucked! [face_laugh] The worst dream, though, was when I dreamed I was in class for a week, read nothing, did nothing, slept through everything and had a huge paper due at the end of that week. I woke up in a cold sweat, and had to run into the study to make sure my Bachelor's degree was still hanging on the wall. Oy...

Hehe, AP English... I remember my test, the poem was about a frog getting run over by a lawn mower... talk about thinking you were in the middle of a really strange and bad dream. Just how do you respond to that? Seriously or take it as being totally tongue in cheek? Oy, atleast we all got a good laugh half way into our test that day. I think that was also the test when my AP History teacher had to be thrown out of the room by the proctor at the beginning because he was running around giving blessings to everyone like a priest, complete with a somewhat modified version of the eucharist; chewing gum and a sip from his Diet Coke can. :)

How about this. When I was in Vet School, I had a dream that I missed an entire class, just forgot I even had it and was going to have a final in this class. I woke up in the middle of the night and went thru all my books trying to find notes for this class I had missed. Obviously I was just dreaming but I really thought I had skipped an entire course.

I'm obviously in a posting kind of mood today. I constantly have this dream where its finals week and I go the exam realizing that I haven't gone to one class the whole semester, and in fact I forgot I was even enrolled until that last day! This keeps happening even tho I've already graduated. That and my other recurring dream where I'm tooling around Hazzard County with Bo and Luke Duke. Why do I keep having that one? Oh well. At least Daisy is there too.

All these exam nightmares! [face_laugh] College must *really* screw you up more than you realize!

Actually, I had *another* exam dream last night (it must be this thread that's doing it - I've not had this many in a looong time). Again, AP exams. Again, English; but this time, History and what was supposed to be Biology were in it too (I never took AP Biology!) I actually passed my English exam... barely. Had to write some screwy essay about computerized music. (please, don't ask) Then Biology was a big blur, but I passed, and in the History exam, we had to answer all these bizarre nit-picky questions about .... **drumroll** EPISODE 1!! [face_laugh] I remember getting pissed during that exam because I couldn't remember what they were asking (that dreaming thought process deal), so I stormed out in a huff. .... It's gotta be this thread...

You all are going to love this one. This took place my sophmore year in high school.

I woke up, showered, ate breakfast, grabbed my books and started walking to school which was about 2 miles away. I stopped in at the Cirlce K right before my school. Everybody in the store was staring at my like I was insane. I happen to glance up at the clock. Doooooh, it was 3am. That was the most depressing and embarrasing walk home. [face_blush]

I wonder how many kids in school tried "I'm sorry the computer ate my homework!"

I almost lost all my finacial data for the a whole year. I paniced for about a week till I found the extra disk. Thank goodness I backup the file on a monthly basis!

When I was a sophomore in high school, my friend's puppy chewed up my essay on Julius Ceasar when I was at her house the morning it was due. Of course I did not have time to rewrite it before school, so I actually had to explain to the teacher that a dog ate my homework! As if I would really use that old excuse unless it was true. Totally humiliating. [face_blush]

In English 102, we had an in-class essay to write on a short story. No problem, 1 1/2 hours to type an essay on the computer. Except the computer of the girl next to me kept crashing. After 20 minutes of trouble (and trying several different computers- I think there was a problem with her account), she asked the proffesor for help. The prof had no clue. Finally, with 30 minutes left in the class, she broke down into tears, and bawled uncontrollably until the prof escorted her from the room. I think she let her redo the essay later.

I've got one, when I was younger before I lost my legs, I would go to the bus stop for school. And the bus stop was on a highway in and out of town, in fact it was the main highway in and out of town. Diesels would go by and I was always practicing how to throw far. I used to pick up a handful of rocks (pebbles very small rocks) and just as soon as the Diesel passed me, I would throw the rocks. And sometimes I would hear them hit. Well, I being so young, wasn't smart enough to remember that these truckers had CB radios. There was an inspection station close to the bus stop, about a mile away. These truckers called the Highway patrol and the Highway patrol paid a visit to my parents. My hands were in casts for weeks after my parents got done with me. Needless to say I learned not to throw rocks!
