Oh. I watched the old version of the show. I haven't seen the new one. I don't remember Dr. Catherine.

 

I didn't like the few episodes I watched. A little too cheesy for my tastes.

Yes, this coming from someone who likes Star Wars.

 

The new one is brilliant.
This character appeared in one episode at Xmas, and is now going to be the Drs new assistant.

She is a stupid comedian...
Its kinda like Ellen Degeneres appearing in Heroes (only crappy american female comedian i can think of )

 

Depends when you watched it.
Watch the last 3 episodes of the series that just ended. Brilliant stuff.
Its hard to judge a show which has so much history off a few episodes. Im not trying to say watch a 100 episodes so you find 1 you like Just that its worth watching Seasons 2 & 3 of the current run, its been so good.

 

Ellen is not crappy, dude. She's like one of the few female commedians I like. Her and Eddie Izzard.

 

d_b I agree it's lame. She's not good enough to sustain a whole series.

 

I can honestly say I've never seen that series before.
