Can we all just agree to never, ever post a video from that guy again?
He shouldn't play Lance Armstrong...he should play Stretch Armstrong!
I sure hope this isn't true considering I've never seen a movie with Bradley Cooper in it that I enjoyed.
I don't mind him being in it, but at this stage where Abrams is most likely still going over the script with Arndt (or storyboarding it to see how it would work) I can't see them making any casting decisions right now.
Good enough for Wet Hot American Summer, good enough for Star Wars.
Want to see someone worse?
Star Wars Episode VII: The Hangover Strikes Back. So it'll centre around someone's bachelor party in Cloud City?
The next morning
"Hey...Han...why do you have a mullet?...Dude..my ass is killing me. Hey, Chewie. Guys, where's Chewie?
30 minutes later
"OK WE'VE OFFICIALLY LOST CHEWIE"
Sounds like the prequel trilogy
He'd make a great Sith Lord.
The promo images of him playing Lucifer in Paradise Lost were creepy...
I haven't seen any of his movies the other side of The Hangover, but you'd be lying if you said he wouldn't make a great successor to Harrison Ford in the role of a scoundrel
Greetings one & all
On morning radio (Fox FM) here in Melbourne the hosts were discussing movies & then the news of SW standalone films. One of them (Jo) then said she "has it on very good authority that Aussie actor John Noble will be appearing as the villain". Matt, the other host queried this with her & she clarified that this will be in Ep VII not a standalone. They had some jokey banter & she offered to put a bet on with him about it & was very adamant.
Being the sceptic I am I won't be placing any stock in this until it's confirmed. However, two things I suppose do give this a little bit of cred: 1. Noble is an Aussie actor so perhaps word might get around the traps here first, & 2. he has the Abrams connection via Fringe. Also, if they're only 26 or so months from release then some casting news shouldn't be too far away, at least regarding actors they're in early talks with.
Assuming for a second this isn't rubbish...any thoughts?
There will be A LOT of people who have it on GOOD AUTHORITY about A LOT of things in the months to come. Personally, I think that dude is overrated.
He is a very good, capable actor. But I don't buy the rumor for a second.
I love that guy. He would make a great villian.
Loved him as Denethor, and he certainly has the looks for a great villain. Wouldn't be opposed it.
At least it would make Sidious or Vader returning a little more unlikely.
Man this would be awesome if it's actually true.
I just can't get over A team
He's really good at playing psychopaths, so him in a villain role would work pretty well.
This would be really great. Loved him (distested him) as Denethor and love him in Fringe. I would certainly welcome him with open arms.
Can we have Jennifer Garner instead??
He was also good as an evil Russian ambassador in season 6 of the show 24.
Loved him in fringe. I would be very happy if this were true.
He is a very good actor. I remember him as Denethor of course, and I think he was in an episode of Stargate too.
I'll buy the rumor, but I'll hang onto the receipt just in case...
He would do well as a military officer, or a crime boss.
