My point is that an actor can still own a role while reminding you that it's him in it. W.C. Fields, for example, was always very distinctly W.C. Fields. And yet nobody has ever complained. Because it's W.C. Fields.

I love that they're getting all these great people from Game of Thrones. If they could just cast Nikolaj Coster-Waldau now, I'd really appreciate it.

 

Sword fighting choreographer and trainer most likely...to work with the new cast as they head into heavy production this month.

 

Total fail if she doesn't end up in Episode VIII and/or IX then

 

Depends if she can escape the continuity problems and time loops of the terminator franchise since she's now signed on as Sarah Conner in the reboot. That likely on top of game of Thrones will likely take up most of her time to shoot anything for the next few years.

If had to guess: based on his build and age. He is sword stunt double for Hammil. Also, he has probably been with the production for a while. Even if they just recently announced it.

 

Hey, that's possible. I figure he's some kind of stunt man; it's a bit late in the game to be announcing someone who's going to be in an acting role; anyone cast at this point would probably have a role about the size of the guy Vader choked in ANH (either one).

 

Not so sure about that. Yerolemou is just over 5'3". And Hamill already has a stunt double who was at Skellig Michael.

 

That doesn't mean much. They can shoot him at certain angles and manipulate photography to make him look larger. I mean David Prowse was 6'7 and Bob Anderson who pretty much did his sword fighting exclusively was about 5'11.

Its not crazy that a guy who is 5'4 could double for a guy who is 5'8.

Plus, this particular guy may have been stunt double at the island or he is only being used for certain scenes. Actors can have multiple stunt doubles for different things.

But Yerolemou is an actor, not a stunt double. Am happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, but I think there's some conclusion jumping because he was good with a sword in GoT.

 

Episode VII won't conclude filming till October or November at the latest...it's not too late to cast a new actor as long as it isn't a major role they're playing, and the scene isn't scheduled to be shot soon.
