Saga - PT Everyone Comes to Doran's Place: OC, Repost

The award nominations gave me the perfect pretext (as if I needed one!) to re-read this story and I'll say again that this fic (and its spin-offs) is in the top ranks of my all-time favourite fic list. So I'm just going to SQUEE again very loudly, congratulate you for your nominations and ask about the sequel. Do we get to read it soon? Please? Pretty please?

Thank you so much! I am still working on the sequel. Sadly, Darths Real Life and Writer's Block have been interfering with my writing lately. I hope to have an entry for the spring OC challenge featuring Doran, though.

 

It's taken me forever to find a chance to finish this. I can't say anything except that I lovity-love-love-love this. I saw it all in my head as you spun it out. So wonderful, Raissa! I'll go hunt down the sequels. Tomorrow, since it's about midnight.

I can see a spoof version of your story revealing that everybody that work at Doran's were secretly Jedi.

I take it that A'Sharad Hett is no part of your canon, or is it that Doran just don't know about him?

Now that's sexist. Baiard is having a personal crisis of faith and Doran blames her gender instead of the mental/emotional strains that she is going through for why he don't know how to handle her.

I think you are missing a word or something similar in this sentence.

Just wondering, do Baiard know that Alyse is a Jedi here? The text do suggest that.

It probably says something about Doran that his reaction to finding his old flame in the company of a older male Jedi is to believe that the old guy is her lover instead of her teacher.

Man, Doran really did not get what being a Jedi was all about if that's his attitude.

You know, the way Doran say that makes it sound a bit like he has started to believe the Imperial propaganda himself.
