Hmmmm not smoking for 2 months should be about the cost of the Star Destroyer set.

 

1 month = my Jedi Costume

3 months= my new door for my Z


Okay, so here it is...a good friend of mine, (Void, it's Sandi) her cat in chemotherapy right now...she loves her cat so much she has depleted her savings and everything else she had. I feel so bad for her and I don't want it to seem like pity but was thining that the money I save from not smoking I am going to give to her. However she wont take a handout so I'll have her sew my costumes and drapes for my bedroom.

Does that sound okay?

Okay Day4:

Tried something crazy today, I cut the patch in half. I want to see if the craving is still there now that three days have passed. I am not going to break or anything, just testing the waters.

Another night of sewing sequins but I completed one of the edges, now I have started on the second row! AAAAAAAAA!!!!! I did stay up too late last night...mmmmm ER

 

Sistine you're holding up great!! I like to sew, but sewing sequins is not my favorite thing to do..it might even drive me to smoking again!!

Keep it up everybody. I havent smoked in 3 days, but I usually dont have a problem with that, its just when I drink.

You quitters are doing great. Keep it up. I'm glad you can get encouragement and support from everyone here. Who says the internet is a cold and impersonal form of communication?

 

I dont have a problem going a few days with out smoking. I just usually smoke when I drink.

I still plan on smoking at the Buffet concert on Tuesday, maybe, but after that I do plan on quiting for good.

 

I am not a quitter!

I just renounced my smoking addiction.

So here I am. Day 7. WOW 7 days!

I have my sense of humor still. And I rarely get that spontanious craving. I don't recall having any yesterday. If I did, I don't remember it.

I did smell someone having one in the parking lot this morning. No desires or disgust. I simply noticed it.

Although in a hour I meet with the boss-man er.. I mean boss-person and see if I have a job next month or not!

I had a real test today, sitting in traffic...I started to get that urge so I cranked my stereo and began singing along with it. All the people staring at me took my mind off of wanting a cigarette and I am down to half a patch...

 

Ah yes. Traffic in So. Cal.. Now there is some real traffic. Out here your still moving. That's not traffic!

 

Day: 7 (whew... already!)

Had a great weekend, sat in front of the tube watching movies on TNT sewing (gluing) like a mad woman. It kept my hands busy and my mind off of other things. My only problem was when I took my pills at bedtime last night. I take Flexerol (??) for my TMJ...also thought it might help with the wrists. In that sort of dopey state I felt the real strong urge to smoke...HOWEVER!! I did go all day yesterday with out the patch!
I over came the urge by finishing another part of my costume!!!

 

Flexoril, the magic med! I live on that stuff when my back goes out.
