Yeah-I don't care how old you are-you're always a kid when it comes to SNOW DAYS!
Everyone was home from work today and my 3, 21+age sons built and igloo with the neighbor kids. These kids actually come over and "call" on them to come out. They wait to see if their cars are in the driveway.
Well at least one's a SW fan - I made him and Obi-Wan costume 2 yrs ago after he saw my sons' Jedi outfits.
Anyway, they played in the snow and love it!
Today was the commute from HELL. First, the bus I normally take to get downtown apparently broke down, so I had to get the later one, and we were held up in traffic, then the bus that I use to get to the Science Center was late. And it was sooooooo freaking COLD. So cold. My feet and hands were throbbing, I couldn't even feel my N NOSE.
Don't get me wrong, I really do love snow and such-I definitely prefer winter to summer. But not when I have to be out in it.
I was really glad on Wednesday when my riding lesson was canceled, but as of yet the mock show on sunday is not...I hope it warms up...my room is also very cold, and my bed is right next to the window...it sucks!
Do what we do-cover the window with sheets and tack them down.
I know this friend, ya know... he's a guy who (umm...) fixes things.
This friend (well, he's not really a friend, per-se.. More of an acquaintance), he
takes care of problems. Pesky problems....
Seems to me that our problem has to do with this one particular weatherman named Phil.
Phil said we'd have six more weeks of winter.
...Six more weeks of AGONIZING, BONE-CHILLING, LOVE-OF-LIFE-CRUSHING *W*I*N*T*E*R*
I think Phil needs to have a (umm) little accident.
We certainly dont want this again next year, do we?
p.s. Anything he needs he can get the ACME company at wholesale prices too.
Actually, Phil said the opposite.
Ahh, then he was wrong. All the more reason... 8->
