Eh, the Clone War era is so transitive at this point that almost anything flies. "Oh, the Death Watch fell apart under the calamity of Darth Maul's leadership? Jedi victory."

If it's in TCW and doesn't contradict anything that already exists, it's absolute, permanent canon. Clone Wars EU can always be overwritten by TCW.

Well, now that the show's almost over things will probably settle down, unless some of these "spinoff films" decide to retread parts of the era. [face_nail_biting]

I think/hope Disney understands that the Clone Wars needs a break for a long time. It just needs to be roped off like Lucas did in the '90s. At least until Leland Chee gives us our new timeline.

This line in the book clearly tells you it had to be a group of Mandalorians, since the show tells you the armor was designed by them.

I thought Boba got his movie armour from Jaster Mareel.

Jango was buried in his armour wasn't he?

And the Clones don't wear Mandalorian Armour, theirs is plastic like the Stormtroopers whereas Mandalorians have metal plates.

According to Wookieepedia Boba had Jango's armour resized to fit him during the Clone Wars. He collected bits of Mandalorian armour, eventually having at least three full sets at his disposal, one of which was Jaster Mereel's.
