Oh yeah, Turoni's without a doubt.
Turoni's it is!
Well I wasn't going to go out to eat after the meeting (I'm trying not to spend money since I dropped almost $200 this last paycheck on "unessentials") - but you've talked me into it with Turoni's! That's my favorite pizza place.
Which Turoni's? Weinbach or N. Main? (both rock!)
Probably Weinbach since it's closer to River City Rec and Comic Quest.
So bowling tonight was a bust. Turns out there was league bowling tonight until 9 and we didn't want to wait around for that.
So we waited an hour to go see 300 instead
Yet another Eville double date
Turoni's was fun. Twas myself, Stacky, Cole, Poor Jennifer, Nathan, Cindy, and Kevin.
Quote of the night: "Nobody's too good for porn." (Made when discussing movie formats and the surge in HD-DVD because Sony is too good to let the adult industry use its format...or something like that. All of this stemmed from talking about IU)
If anyone is interested, my senior recital is this coming Saturday, March 17, at 4:00 PM in Wheeler Concert Hall (that's on UE's campus, just inside the Fine Arts building) It's totally free and there will be food afterward.
Come hear me sing pretty!!
Good turnout for the dinner! (More than a double date, I'd say). I had a basketball awards night for my son or I would have been there.
I am not discussing the moral implications when it comes to porn but Sony thumbing it's nose at the adult film industry by denying them the ability to use the Blue Ray format to distribute their material was a monumental screw up on Sony's part.
It's a multi-billion dollar industry and Sony let's the mistakes keep on rolling.
So, who would be up for a free round of bowling on Friday or Saturday afternoon? The first 10 people to respond get to bowl a round for free. You'll still have to pay for your shoes, but that's $3.00 at most.
Sorry for the late notice, Stakky and I just got the free voucher today. It's for AMF lanes, over by Washington Square Mall.
Lemme know ASAP!!
Do we have any say in what we get to do for an "event"?
It just feels like we don't really have options for events/outings.
Normally after a GM we just went out, had dinner, and geeked out.
I am not trying to rain on anyone parade and maybe I am wrong but
I thought the "events" were to be more than the average "something after the GM".
Just a thought.
Um.... if bowling happens this Friday or Saturday, that wouldn't be "something after the GM." The GM is Saturday the 14th, this weekend is the 6th/7th.
You want something other than a post-general meeting event and she gave it to ya...
I don't see what you are getting at here.
I didn't notice the Friday in there.
Cindy and I would love to go, but unfortunately we'll be in Terre Haute for a big taekwondo tournament this weekend. Have fun without us, and we'll see everyone at the GM!
The costuming meeting is this friday. We could do it at the bowling alley and kill two mynocks with one stone
While doing that is a really good idea, I don't want to step on anyone's toes. So how does Saturday afternoon sound? I was thinking around 12:00. They open at 10. Let me know if you can come ASAP
Well, nobody's responded. So I guess the event is off. Stay tuned for more events later this month.
Time for our next event!!!
Since we'll all be together for FCBD, I think it is only fitting that we have an event afterwards to help us all unwind from the day, and that event is...
I'm figuring that we can either have dinner and then see the movie, or vice versa. To ensure that we get tickets, I'll buy them online, so I need to know by Wednesday how many ppl are coming. YOU WILL HAVE TO REIMBURSE ME FOR THE TICKETS. NO EXECPTIONS. And if you say you are coming only to back out at the last minute, you will have to pay for your ticket.
Please post in here ASAP as to whether or not you will be coming. Thanks!
Cindy and I will both be there.
I will be there, but you knew that already
Kyla and I will both be there.
Pretty sure at this point that I won't be able to make it. I have to work that day.
I'll probably stop in at FCBD with my six year old son - he'll get a kick out of seeing Darth Vader - but it won't be for very long.
Everyone have a great time!
So, Spider-Man's opening in IMAX--I hope we're going to try to see this version. It would certainly get my vote.
So it looks like we'll be going to the 6:45 IMAX showing of Spiderman 3 on Saturday. Please let me know if you haven't already whether or not you're coming with us.
I plan on seeing Spiderman 3 with the group.
