Here is the one stop place for all collecting discussions. Feel free to throw in other lines if you wish. We will use this space to speak of new stuff, what we have scored (include women if you wish), and to moan about the lack of new crap on the pegs around here. Sit back, pull up the keyboard, slam a beer down, and enjoy...let the show begin...

I'm not normally a Jedi kinda collector, but this mini bust jumped out at me as cool.

    [image=https://www.gentlegiantltd.com/images/product/12/348/Shaak%20Ti/productDetail.png]

I'm wondering if the production of this bust has anything to do with her role in an upcoming video game...

Alaya Secura comes out the month before she does. I think they are just doing a small Jedi focus, because it was pretty clear that Secura gets the business end of some clone rifles and should not be in the game.

    That makes sense.

    ... even a clone can't miss at a range of 12 inches. :) [face_skull]

I must have the Cooperstown Ryne Sandberg and the Alfonso Soriano out of the MLB. One day I need to go back and get Wood, Lee, Rameriez, Prior, and the McF Sosa. The Cubs are the only ones for me!!!

On the SW side, I am now within 2 figures of having a complete UGH set. I just need the UGH Vader and the UGH McFett. For wave 5 I am down to a Revan to open, 2 Pre-Cyborg Grievious, and 2 McQuarrie Hero Starkillers. For wave 6 I just need a Lando coin and a McSnowtrooper coin (or one of each to open for the coin). Gotta love trading on other sites because if I waited on our stores, I would have jack**** for wave 5 and 6.

If I stumble upon a McFett I'll let ya know. ;)

Not that I check the pegs on a regular basis, but I have never seen any of the McFigs on shelves. Sucks that the only way I see these things is on Rebelscum and at Celebrations.

[face_laugh] Yeah, I had to look that up a couple weeks ago.

A McFigure refers to any of the McQuarrie concept figures. For example, I have a McThreepio and a McLuke.

Most of the Mc's, especially the McFett, are really hard to find. Rightfully so, because they are really cool.

I've never tried my figures with cheese before!

The newest wave of Comic 2 packs are hitting Target's per aftimes.com

These are Anakin w/Assasin Droid, Bultar Swan w/Koffi Annan (sic), and Baron Fel w/Hobbie

It's just one single store report somewhere in the US but I doubt someone would want to lie about it.

If you all get lucky and get these, think of me and pick up an extra set. [face_praying]

    You know the rest. [face_mischief]

I want a Koffi since you can put the lightsaber into his chest and make him die. Yes, they have been hitting in Cali. That is also where all the wave 5 and UGH stuff I have is from.

We are now to November and it is about to get expensive exclusive-wise.

Most will be from Target: Battle of Hoth Ultimate Battle Pack, Battle of Endor Ultimate Battle Pack (Black Friday for both), Arc-170 with Clone Wars paint job (like Gunship from CW cartoon) and a battle pack with it's crew, and the Hunt for Yoda Battle Pack with 2 AT-RTs, 2 pilots, and a new Bacara repaint that is smokin' cool.

Walmart will have 2 Battle Packs for Jabba's Band and 3 Comic Packs.

TRU has blown their exclusive wad already and will only be adding the JSF with Hyperdrive ring in January and a cheesy Clones and Generals pack for this Christmas (all repacks and no good clones).

    Hi.

Could anyone recommend a safe, reputable Internet Site that sells vintage action figures?

Specifically, I am looking for vintage Star Trek The Motion Picture, The Black Hole, Buch Rodgers, and Battlestar Galactica figures from around 1980.

    Thanks!

    Edric

If memory serves me well I saw The Hunt for Grievous, Training on Dagobah, and Battle of Geonosis Battle Packs, along with Han w/torture rack and a General McQuarrie at Wal-Mart East last night.

The HFG packaging isn't as cool as the 1st HFG but it was never awe inspiring anyways.

You might try shopgoodwill.com too - they often will lots of loose figures and toys sometimes with some vintage stuff mixed in.
