Try the auction sites first. If you go to places like Cloud City Toys or Brian's Toys, it will cost tons more then getting them from an auction.

The following Star Wars Comic 2-Packs are at Wal-Mart West...

Purge - Koffi Arana & Bultar Swan
X-Wing Rogue Squadron #24 - Baron Fel & Derek Hobbie
Republic #57 - Anakin Skywalker & Assassin Droid

They all look great, a lack of articulation somewhat, but still look good.

Check your Dollar General stores. I've located Titanium, figures and (Action fleet sized) vehicles for $8.

    ARC-170
    Snow speeder
    AT-AT

    Mike,

Did they release an AT-TE in this line? $8 for one of those would be sweet.

No they didn't, the closest you'll find is the Action Fleet AT-TE made by Hasbro.

I need to check some of the other DGs. At the one on the westside, I got the 501 Trooper, Grievous, 3PO, and IG-88 for $5 apiece. I hope one of the other ones has the Maul and Luke with X-Wing suit.

Might just be the coolest animated statue yet!

I'll be adding that to the list of cool things I wish I had. ;)

Well, I had quite a surprise Sunday. At the little old Wally-World in Jasper I found:

    Romba and Graak the Ewoks
    Tycho Celchu
    Anakin Skywalker's Spirit
    R2-D2 with Cargo Net

and the Creme de la Creme:

McQuarrie Han Solo (I found two, but, following my own personal collector's code, I bought one and left the other for the next guy or gal).

After all these years, I still get a little giddy when I find the new figures.

your code is flawed. You buy one for yourself then buy one for someone in the Fan Force that needs it. :-B

    Mike-El:

What was I thinking? I'll text you the next time I see something like that. We could set up collector Text alerts or something!

I look forwards to the Legacy comic packs the most. I also can't wait for the new Evolutions sets coming early next year, my Revan and Malak need a Nihlus to stand with on my shelf.

Peg report: There ain't crap for new stuff figure wise right now.

If anyone does see the Clone Trooper Hawkbat(poncho trooper), Holo-Vader, R2-B1, or the McQuarrie Rebel Trooper I am really trying hard to find these.

I read this excerpt from theforce.net

    --------------------------

UndercoverHD.com has an interesting article up about celebrities
who banked the most dough in 2007. They talk primarily about entertainers
like 50 Cent, Jay-Z & Madonna, each of whom brought in way more than I'll
ever see in a lifetime. However the interesting part is near the end of the
article with a mention of George Lucas.

"The biggest entertainment payday of the year however went to George Lucas.
Lucas took in a $200 million check from Hasbro toys. The toy company licenses
Star Wars toys and action figures directly from Lucas. In 1997, he received
warrants for $170 million for Hasbro stock. This year, they bought the warrants back from him."
