ST Ewan McGregor in episode VIII

I want him to appear in both VIII-IX so that he along with R2 and 3PO would have a presence in every single SW Saga movie!!! If Anakin shows up in VIII-IX and one counts Vader burned helmet in TFA he would also have a presence in every movie.

and I would love to get a Kenobi movie!!!

 

Maybe Hux shaved off Ben's beard off of his corpse and then placed it on his face...because he's really ****ing weird?

Counting the helmet is a bit of a stretch, I would think.

It wouldn't be nearly that the helmet counts. It would be the fact that Kylo has the helmet, talks to it, and clearly k kws who/what it is that gives him a presence.

 

Plus Grievous and Jango. He's a busy guy.

 

Now that's Obi-Wan's rare usage of an "uncivilized" weapon...

And Ewan indeed played the character really well, making Obi-Wan one of the standouts of the Prequel Trilogy... I just wonder how they will fit him into the narrative of The Last Jedi, maybe in a Force Ghost scene together with Anakin?

Obi definitely had a presence in that teaser. It seems like he should have a moment in this movie.

 

yeah I hope we get him and a Hayden force ghost oh the feels, i just wondered why he wasn't at celebration maybe he is in it and they don't want to give it away because all he's done since SW has ended is sing its praises.

 

Obi-Wan ties everything together from beginning to end, he is the guiding light in his wisdom and the one that sets Luke and Anakin on their paths. It would be significant if Luke is initially unwilling to train Rey, but then Obi-Wan persuades him otherwise just as he did when Yoda didn't want to train Luke and Yoda and Mace were unwilling to train Anakin.

 

really hoping he makes an appearance Ewan could totally pull off Obi wan right now.

 

I hope they go into the lore of Force ghosts. I'd like it if Obi-Wan mentioned "my master discovered this technique Luke. However his training is incomplete, and he has since chosen to become one with the Force."

Anakin "My son, he was the most unique Jedi that I ever met."

Yoda "My teacher as well, he was."

I think it would be really cool if Qui-Gon became a mystical Jedi whose powers were the stuff of legend.
