    I'm guessing this would be the forum for these movies, but if not, redirect me.

    Anyway, has anyone here actually seen them? I think they are worse than Episode 1 (which is really really hard 2 do).

    Cindel=Too much cuteness
    Mace=Glad he (spoiler) dies.
    Wicket= SHOULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH
    Gorax=What were they thinking?
    Teek=WORSE THAN JAR JAR

    </rant>

    EV Edit: Redirecting to the Small Screen SW forum.

    Was that neccesary? [face_plain]

    Wicket = SHOULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH

    Well, I'm sorry you object to the idea of an Ewok expanding his education to appreciate the galaxy's diverse and beautiful cultures. ;)

    Anyway, I think the Small Screen Star Wars would be the place for this, seeing as they're not part of the OT, and they were made for television. Wouldn't you agree?

    Rick McCallum loves you!

    The Ewok films were not intended to be viewed in the same light as the trilogy.

    They were an offshoot, like the cartoons.

    I thought they were what they were meant to be, lighter SW, more appropriate for smaller children. On that level, I thought they were fine.

    I rewatched my old taped-off-TV copy of THE EWOK ADVENTURE recently after I had not seen it in probably ten years or so. Seeing it now, I certainly think its corny. The kids' acting isn't particularly good, but like stated above, it's really a lighter SW adventure aimed at little kids, and it does work in that respect. I always liked it as a kid, and I used to watch it constantly, at least once a week. I liked the Gorax, those giant dog-like beasts, and those big spiders. I always cried when (***SPOILERS***) the one Ewok died.

    I've never seen THE BATTLE FOR ENDOR, though. Rick McCallum said that there will be DVD releases of both movies sometime after EPISODE III.

    I dunno. Caravan of Courage was worse than Battle for Endor, but they both were bad. I mean, yeah, they are kiddie movies, but so is Clone Wars, but Clone Wars is good.

    And the Teeks are stupid. Death to the Teeks.

    Oh my dear lord. I hate those Ewok movies more than hate itself. They are quite easily the dumbest thing ever created pertaining to Star Wars. By far. George Lucas should be ashamed of himself for ever being associated with those movies.

    Even worse than THE HOLIDAY SPECIAL? I mean, at least they didn't have sequences where the Ewoks got high and watched virtual porn. :D
