Sorry I meant happy - the Ewoks were very happy when they defeated the Empire .............
Of course the Ewoks were happy to defeat the Empire. Stormtrooper tastes like chicken.
Those were the old practices before they joined the Rebellion and became "civilised".
Now wearing the skins of their enemies, and taking bites out of a still beating heart, are only done in secret ceremonies behind closed doors, much like black magic and devil worshipping in today's society. But those practices are actually deep rooted in the dark side, hence we have our new "triple ewok sith" bad guy
You're gonna blow the whole deal!
Nope, this is Darth Gorax:
If the film has the forest moon of Endor as a location, sure I can see Ewoks being in the ST.
I could see an Ewok being in E7. After leaving Hoth, the Alliance didn't have a planetary base, did they? I assumed they were just drifting through space at the time of ROTJ. Since they liberated Endor's moon from the Empire, why not settle down there? It's a nice place. I could see E7 starting X number of years in the future and the Alliance having been based there since ROTJ. Surely an Ewok would show up.
In Marvel Star Wars, the proto-New Republic are indeed based on Endor for a while. Though the Provisional Council meets on various New Republic member worlds.
Showing the Alliance having established a base on Endor is a pretty cool idea actually.
I don't want to see the Ewoks join the Republic. They're to loyal to their God, C-3PO. Han had Chewie as a life debt. Threepio has thousands of furry followers.
Another possibility for names of the mighty three is La'ray, Mo, and Kur lay.
EU discussions are conveniently located in our 'EU Discussion' thread...
I wouldn't rule out that they haven't already; maybe they don't want to be too closely tied with the Republic or maybe they do. At the very least, I could see them utilizing diplomats and emissaries for duties concerning the Republic and the Senate to keep some threads between the two parties intact.
I'll take the Ewoks over Gungans any day of the week...
Logray and Chief Chirpa should get their own standalone.
Beautiful shot there, Sean.
I highly doubt you will see Ewoks or Jar Jar Binks in the ST movies.
A spinoff about them, with the skull hat ewok in the background as the sidekick and/or comic relief, would be something else.
Watched the Ewok movies for the first time since I was like 8. Endor holocaust couldn't have happened. They clearly show throughout those movies the Gas Giant the "Forest Moon of Endor" is circling.
Curtis Saxton seems to have missed that.
Everybody knows what happens after ROTJ! The Emperor-less Empire is destroyed by Ewoks!
I'm starting to think that the probability of them appearing in the ST is pretty high; I wouldn't be suprised if Abrams will include an Ewok or two in Episode VII.
yes, Ewoks in Episode 7! Senator Wicket!!
I want the Ewoks to be in the entire ST!
